Gross Hotel

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: Great Location, convenient to town and the ski hill
Everything about this hotel was gross. The bathrooms were not clean, the blankets on the beds were not clean, the whole hotel felt dirty. My kids, who will swim anywhere, would not swim in the pool. The pool had algea in it and the hot tub was cold.

Nice Hotel for the Cost

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: Front staff was helpful and friendly
Location: The downtown area has great places to eat and shop, skiing is what brings us to Red Lodge
We like to drive up to Red Lodge and stay the night and get up and ski for the day and then drive home again...so for the cost this hotel meets our needs. It is clean and comfortable with friendly staff, no perks or anything fancy but okay for the cost, it meets our needs for one night.

Dirty rooms. Was asked by staff to leave a tip for housekeeping but feel the room was not deserving of one. Breakfast was a joke. Cereal and a few small muffins. No batter for waffles and no butter or syrup for them

Not sure if the hotel was under new management but

Posted Dec 10, 2014
There was lots of painting going on, no one was at the front desk when I arrived. I actually had to call the hotel to let them know I was at the front desk. I think I was the only one staying there that night. Overall I guess everything was just adequate.

Lost reservation and dirty pool!

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Our reservation through Expedia was not found by the staff so he had us simply make a new one. I'm hoping this does not lead to double charges. The pool was dirty enough that someone had written "clean me" in the grime on the walls and the hot tub did not work. Disappointed!

Disappointed

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Main entrance was locked when we arrived late, but the side entrances are not kept locked. Green scum in the (warm) pool and the hot tub was out of order. Our room's bathtub was scummy and I needed to clean out the drain so the water would drain. Found a used band aid on the door stop in my room and a broken plastic knife in the vat of peanut butter at breakfast. The owner walked around in his pj's most of the day. Staff was friendly but hard to understand through the thick accents. I think it is run, cleaned and maintained by three Indian men. They are not able to stay on top of it all.

Low value for the money.

It was a long nerve wracking drive in the dark out of the Northwest exit/entrance of Yellowstone. We pulled into Red Lodge and found Lupine motel. What a disappointment! It smelled, wiring to the lamps was bare, security issues with the door all added to a not very restful night. Would not recommend this hotel until a major overhaul was done. The price was standard but not the motel.

Our stay was less than mediocre.

Dirty towels had been left in the room from previous guests and I even questioned our personal safety as outside doors were kept unlocked entire evening. Basic cleanliness scored a minus and the general manager was somewhat weird.
