Another Great Stay
My sons and I had our first “Guys Weekend Fishing Trip”, and it was a great experience! The lake home is spacious and had everything we needed. We fished all weekend and caught some of the biggest fish we’ve ever caught in our lives. Pam and Dave are great hosts and we’re already planning our next visit.

Wonderful
We chose this location as it was near the location of our old childhood lake cabin. The home is beautiful with a large living and gathering space and multiple bedrooms. There is a beautiful deck that overlooks the lake and ample areas to gather near the lake. The owners are very warm and responded quickly to inquiries and even stopped by to check on our stay . Highly recommend!

This property is a hidden gem! We have stayed in multiple vrbos the past years and I’d have to say this is by far one of our favorites. Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing hosts amazing weekend!
Pamela and her husband were truly amazing! Pictures don’t do justice to how gorgeous the property is. We decided to have the pontoon for Saturday and they came down to show us how to start it and chat with us. Waking up to that view cannot be beat. It was great weekend with the girls thinking about taking my husband and two children back!! I can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful spot and great hosts!
We stayed with a group of 8 girls, for a girls weekend and couldn’t have loved it more. Having the pontoon as an optional part of the rental was perfect for us! We spent a beautiful weekend on the sandbar and enjoyed the comforts of the home. The home was clean and well stocked! Plenty of room for all of us and great living spaces to all sit together and talk. A great weekend. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Home-Beautiful Lake
Shortly after we arrived we were greeted by our awesome hosts, Pam and David..., AND Lena, their adorable puppy. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at the "Up North" lake home, regardless of the sweltering heat. Yep, it was HOT-HOT-HOT! But that didn't hinder our fun. Two days of our stay we took out the pontoon and fished. The rest of time was spent relaxing, watching the beautiful sunsets, reading, cooking, eating and going in to town to shop and meet the friendly Remer folks. But unfortunately we were unable to find "Bigfoot Repellent" at any of the stores we visited. That left us feeling a bit uneasy, but we took our chances. Afterall, we were on vacation..., armed with a fly-swatter and wiiling to live dangerously ;)

Great Lake Home!
We had such a fun and relaxing time here! We took the pontoon out once, but we were able to catch northern and bass, and lots of small panfish for the younger kids, from the shore. The weather was cooler than we expected, we probably would have used the pontoon more if the weather had been a little more cooperative! The kids were still able to swim a couple of days from shore. The house was spacious and just as advertised! Beds and pillows were comfy and everything you would need in the kitchen. We would definitely come back!

Wedding
We had a family wedding, approximately 20 miles from the property. This VRBO is a great alternative to staying at a hotel which was 40 miles from the wedding venue. It was quiet, clean, spacious, and had a wonderful view of the lake with beautiful sunsets. Very relaxing.

Great weekend getaway!
We had a great time here as part of our anniversary trip! We only stayed a couple nights to check out the Bigfoot festival in Remer but once we got there wished we had booked longer! The cabin has everything you need and more. The lake front is beautiful and town is a short easy drive away. We would definitely book again!

Spacious lake home with beautiful view
The lake home was spacious and had everything you would need. We had four teens and had an amazing time kayaking, swimming, catching fish, and playing lawn games. Hosts were so helpful and accommodating and met us when we checked in. Our whole family fell in love with the place and would love to visit again and take in the beautiful sunsets on the lake.

A Wonderful Getaway Location For Families
The property was fantastic! We were greeted by one of the hosts (Dave) upon arrival, and were given a tour of the property and any pertinent information. Very friendly, and a Great first impression. The property is very large, with a wide open floor plan (think lake home with an “Up North Cabin” feel). Plenty of room for a family or a group of friends to spend time together without feeling cramped. Gorgeous views of the lake from the deck area and just the perfect amount of trees to keep the sun from beating down on you, but still allowing the sunlight in. The lake is fairly shallow, but it made for some great fishing off of the dock for the grandkids and adults alike. A pontoon is available which we did rent from the hosts, and had a couple of nice cruises around the lake and some fishing along the shoreline. My son actually caught one of the biggest fish (Northern Pike) that he’s ever landed, so it was an exciting and relaxing excursion in all. Lots of wildlife to see. We saw herons, deer, ducks and were lucky enough to see a bald eagle as well. The grandkids had a fantastic time, and we all enjoyed our time here making memories and enjoying the wonderful weather and property. We are already looking at our calendar and availability for this property to make a return trip as soon as we can. We all highly recommend this property and the wonderful hosts Pam and Dave.

Mother's day weekend 2023
Had an amazing time! Pontoon was an awesome bonus. My daughter and I tried kayaking for the 1st time! Little hard for my elderly mother in law to get down to the lake but next time we will bring her scooter. Loved that there wasn't a minimum night stay as we have a hard time getting extra days off other then weekends. Hosts were so helpful!
