It was fine. It's a bit older, but that is to be expected. All the hotels in the area are older I think. The shower wasn't great. Well you couldn't get the wand to stay up and pointed at you.

Great hotel for a quick stopover in Germany
It was a very nice hotel.They even put out a dog bed and feeding bowls for my dog. She was most impresssed. It did feel a little bit soul less but apart from that I can't fault it. The room was big and comfortable, as was the bed.

Good Stay Overall- Clean and Simple Hotel
I found the staff here to be helpful and accommodating. That includes the restaurant staff. The room was clean and simple. There is no A/C but there is a fan in the room. The hotel is literally a short 5 minute walk from the train station, and it is central to several restaurants and stores. It was convenient to the Wurstmarkt. A short walk behind the hotel through the park gets you there. I have no complaints. Everything was good where the hotel itself is concerned. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I should say there is one downside and that has nothing to do with the hotel. During Wurstmarkt, in the evening teenage revelers spent 2 nights yelling and screaming outside of the hotel until the wee hours of the morning. (The police ended up coming out there the second night.) If street noise like this bothers you, ask for a room away from the street. I had room 253.

Close to Wurstmarkt
Excellent location very close to entrance to Wurstmarkt... but that also means high pedestrian traffic next to the hotel so noise level is high and balcony doors are not insulated well to dampen the outside noise. I would stay again for the proximity, comfortable room, with parking garage.

I would stay here again.
This is a nice hotel. I stayed over only one night but I was able to use the sauna and the pool. Both were good. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Bad Durkheim. Each room is spacious with amenities that are generally found in luxury hotels. We had robes, slippers, and a box of toiletries that helped to greet us to the room. The breakfast, which is included, was amazing. It had hot item, like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and mini frikedelle. It had a variety of breads and cereals. It had a fruit bar, a cold bar with salmon and cold vegetables. It had all manner of hot beverages from coffee to a wide variety of teas, plus juice and water. The staff were very inviting, friendly, and helpful.

This hotel desperately needs refurbishing.
The photo the hotel uses to promote itself is misleading. It shows the hotel overlooking the Kurpark, but in reality, very few rooms face the cure park. Most rooms face the interior, overlooking the roof of the parking garage, ours faced the street. The facilities are badly in need of refurbishment. The carpets in the hallways and in our room were disgustingly stained, and also discolored, causing us to wonder if there might be a mold problem. The railings on the balcony had severely peeling paint. And the toilet ran constantly during our two night stay. The price charged for the room would be appropriate for a much higher quality property. Out of the seven hotels we've stayed in on this trip, this was the worst, and by far the worst value.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett und freundlich, das Personal im Restaurant, vermutlich aufgrund von Personalmangel, eher genervt und schnippisch. Eine auf dem Zimmer eigentlich übliche Kaffeemaschine hat uns leider gefehlt...die Location am Kurpark war prima und den Wellnessbereich hatte man fast für sich alleine
