“Rio during carnivale.”

An excellent hotel located on copacabana. Great staff who were very helpful to us during our 5 day visit. We stayed on the 8th floor, the executive floor where we had our buffet breakfast overlooking the beach. We would highly recommend the sofitel.

“Great hotel to stay in Rio”

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. First of all, the location of the hotel is very convenient and we were able to easily and quickly go to all the places we wanted to in Rio. The hotel is right in front of Copacabana beach and provides beach services for hotel guests. The facilities are great (rooms, restaurants, lounges, pools, etc). The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and very helpful. When I go back to Rio I plan on staying there again.

The Best Copacabana views one can wish for.....(room 617) Best breakfast too! However, didn't like the hotel restaurant "le pré catalan".
