The house is about half way up a valley that leads up to the National Forest, it follows a stream and the views were spectacular from the house. It is a drive if you need to grab food, so it is wise to plan ahead so that you don’t have to drive back to town if you don’t want to. It is a very pretty drive though, we saw whitetail deer, mule deer, and elk on over drive.
We were there with our kids, my parents, and a cousin’s family. We had the max allowed for the rental and had plenty of space. Verizon worked well there and we had no issues with the WiFi. I cannot comment on the satellite tv since we never watched while we were there.
The kitchen is well laid out and easy to access and it had all the pots and pans we needed. We did bring crock pots for some of what we had planned to cook, but there was one there as well that we did not use. Large fridge with plenty of room as well. We didn’t have any issues with any of the appliances.
The bedrooms had lots of space and the mattresses were comfortable. Lots of towels for the bathrooms and the hot tub. No issues with anything there.
A previous review talked about hiking to a waterfall. That wasn’t possible for us since the road washed out last year and the forest service is still fixing it. We did hike as far as we could and glassed a mountain goat.
We would stay there again.
