"Absolutely lovely property. Great base location to visit many sights in Normandie. Village is lovely and the people are friendly. There is everything in this property you would need. Child equipment is good. Travel got, change mat, potty and even a sippy cup. Seating and beds are very comfortable. Host is a lovely man. Can’t recommend this property enough. Superb."

"We had a wonderful stay here. The gardens are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast in the gorgeous solarium. We also took advantage of the warm weather and had drinks in the courtyard/ garden. Our host helped us with last minute dinner reservations and both restaurants were fabulous! We never would have found them on our own. Next time, we would book a larger room. We had a standard double room. It had everything we needed but we could have used more space."

"The breakfast was very good, if expensive (welcome to France). After multiple trips to breakfast restaurants to eat bread and coffee, having eggs and bacon was a real treat. Yes I am from Canada. Shower was new and relatively roomy. Small room, but well layed out, and we enjoyed 2 twin beds."

A Great Find!

"A great find. Charming French quaint small hotel with a bar and excellent restaurant. Very much feels like old world charm. Great location within walking distance of the town square and other attractions. Only a short drive (20 min) to Mt St Michele. Clean and modern amenities. Just be patient looking for a parking spot near the hotel."

comfortable cottage in the calm of Calvados with heated pool

Small but adequate

"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the sofa bed as it was broken. We did inform the owner who said she was aware it was broken but didn’t say it would be fixed or a new sofa bought. We could not drink the water from the kitchen tap as it came out white rather than clear. Positives- Nice pool Hot tub Quiet & private Nice big walk in shower Garden with swing and trampoline Negatives - Small Dated interior Broken sofa bed Spiral staircase which is very tight Water not fit for drinking Be sure to take bug repellent"

Simply the best!

"Wonderful property, not too far from shops or days out to sightsee but far away for peace and tranquility. Good selection of dvds for the rainy days that we stayed in, a keyboard for the children and fantastic gardens to explore. Michael, the owner was so helpful and always available if needed. Very knowledgeable on the area too. We stayed here for 10nights, comfortable beds, was a shame about the weather as we could not really sit out. On the off chance it didnt rain, there were plenty of games for the children to enjoy, and make friends with Gilbert the ginger cat! The fire was wonderful to light and made it extra cozy. We look forward to returning one day as it felt a little corner of heaven here. Came back with a family of 5 with no washing either, thanks to the machine being there and tumble dryer! Thanks Michael, we look forward to receiving the christmas card, with your fantastic artwork. Its been such a pleasure to meet you and chat to you. Thank you for having us!"
