A truly wonderful property all round!! Clean, well appointed rooms, amazing breakfast, lots of outdoor seating in beautiful garden, delicious food, plentiful complimentary amenities and friendly, helpful staff everywhere. I would highly recommend staying here:it is a wonderful oasis, has an amazing view of the mountains and is very close to Salzburg. Only wish I could have stayed longer! My one recommendation for improvement would be to lower the pool temperatures as they were all on the warm side, especially the large one which was like bath water.

My family enjoyed a beautiful stay at the Laschensky hotel. We had the family suite with an amazing view of der Untersberg. We are picky about beds and found ours to be very comfortable. There was a great playground to help keep our kids happy while we all adjusted to the new time zone.

Hotel that did their best with the worst situation
Very helpful staff. When I told them Eurowings lost my bag, the staff was very helpful in trying to accommodate me the best they could. Only wish the rest of my trip I could have stayed here.

Fantastic hotel and service!
Well another fantastic night at this great hotel before flying home from Salzburg. Lovely rooms, fabulous evening meal and scrumptious breakfast. Staying here on the last night of our holiday takes all the hassle out of travelling back to airport early morning to catch our flight home!

Beautiful Hotel
Wow! What a fantastic hotel. Due to the heavy snow falling we were worried about travelling the 11/4hrs from Bad Gastein to the airport in the early hours of Saturday morning, so decided to book a room at Laschenskyhof on Friday night. So glad we did as this hotel is fantastic! The rooms are more like suites, clean, comfortable, spacious and the en-suite bathroom was superb! The views from the balcony over this quite part of Salzburg and the surrounding mountains were beautiful! We had a meal in the restaurant from a vast menu which turned out to be one of the best dinners we have eaten from the area. As we were only 1.6km from the airport we expected the meal to be the most expensive from our holiday, but no! It was in fact it was the cheapest! Again in the morning the inclusive buffet breakfast (hot & Cold) was very filling! Throughout our stay the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We thoroughly recommend this hotel for either an overnight stay before your flight or infact a stay over several days to visit Salzburg and the surrounding area.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel! It was a beautiful and cozy hotel, with a restaurant on the property, which was a plus. Continental breakfast was included in our stay and absolutely delicious!!! My only disappointment was that the rooms do not have air conditioning (although I heard that's common in Austria). However, we went in July and it was really hot! Maybe A/C can be added in the future?? Just a thought... Otherwise, lovely hotel, very family friendly, and I would recommend it! Beautiful and peaceful landscape and surroundings.

Construction ruined stay.
The hotel is clean and has a good breakfast. Unfortunately, it has major construction taking place immediately next door. The noise begins promptly at 7:00 am or so and continues throughout the day into the early evening. The hotel has no AC and while we were there it was very hot. The photos on the site make it appear as if the hotel is in a nice rural area. It is not.

Typical European hotel with no air conditioner. It was about 91F/32C so it was pretty hot inside. The fan that was provided didn’t give much relief. But other than that, the check in and check out process were very quick and the breakfast was good too.

Traditional gasthaus just outside Salzburg
Our family of four enjoyed our connecting rooms. Furnishings were traditional and in good condition. Nice balconies with views of the surrounding mountains. The daily breakfast was of high quality and served in the gasthous' pleasant restaurant, with excellent views of the mountains.

Great Hotel with Good Access to Salzburg
This hotel is a must if you are visiting Salzburg. The owners and staff demonstrate a high level of excellence in hospitality. Food is terrific and locally produced, some from the farm on which the hotel is located. The rooms are spacious and immaculately kept. A bus leaves near the hotel for a twenty minute ride to Salzburg every fifteen minutes.

Lovely Family Run Hotel
Spent 2 nights in the family apartment, 1 bedroom with a pull out sofa bed in the sitting room/kitchen area. Room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for 2 adults, 2 young children that don't mind sharing a bed. The grounds of the hotel are charming. My children enjoyed the pool and the playground.

Wonderful experience in this amazing hotel. To the points that matter the most: room was very comfortable (including very nice bed and excellent shower pressure); breakfast with great variety and good quality; staff very polite and helpful; check in and check out very fast and efficient. Great location for a getaway or family trip
Family-owned/operated. Very beautiful setting just 5 minutes from the Germany/Austria border. Right around the corner from the W.A. Mozart airport and about a 10 minute drive into the city center. Then the restaurant blew me away. You MUST have the Apple Strudel.

This hotel is a gem, they try (and succeed)so hard to please their customers. The food, booze, comfort and satisfaction you get for your money is exceptional. Beautiful rooms and hotel
Beautiful hotel if you don't mind being outside the city a ways. We drove into Salzburg one day and decided to take the bus the following day and hotel staff was very patient providing detailed instructions for both. The rooms are very nice, good sized, and quiet. It is obvious that the owners and management team take much pride in how the facility looks and how friendly and helpful the staff is.

Traditional Family Hospitality
This hotel is a fantastic option outside of downtown Salzburg. It is very easy to get to by car or bus, and there is on the direct bus line into the old city. They have all sorts of free inclusions: electric bicycles, ipads, nearby spa & gym, etc. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and really go out of their way every day to make you feel at home.

What a wonderful place
The room was beautiful. We were lucky enough to get the suite but looking in some of the other rooms they were wonderful too just smaller. The view from our room was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. This wasn't in the center of town but the ride to town was quick and easy. This was a family run place and it was easy to feel like part of the family since they were there either at breakfast or dinner. The terrace was a delight and neighbors from all over town come to use the amazing playground. This is a must stay!

Picturesque and convenient to Salzburg
The family who owns and runs this outstanding chalet couldn't be nicer. They have thought of everything to make your stay wonderful. From the rooms to the meals, everything was outstanding. Most food was raised or grown on their adjacent farm. Easy 20 min. bus ride to downtown Salzburg. The views are outstanding.

Having been to most parts of the world, i guess this is the best hotel i have been to that has surpassed brand hotel names such as Hilton, Holiday Inn, Novetel, Sheraton and Ibis. The service is impeccable and if i am returning back to Salzburg- i am going to stay in this hotel again,

The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are spacious and clean and the restaurant and bar are both wonderful. My husband enjoyed the sauna as well. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel in great surroundings
The hotel wasn't the easiest to find (satnav didn't work in Austria) but was excellent. The hotel itself is a picture, covered in window boxes of flowers. We stayed in an appartment in th guest house which was roomy and comfortable. The restaurant did a good selection of evening meals and had an excellent selection at breakfast. We left the car at the hotel and took the bus into town which was regular and left from just up the road. Hotel wasn't cheap ..... but it was worth it!
