I did the reservation, but, after reading some reviews, I was little wary of my choice. Found out, I got the best for my money. Some concern about the sight of unhoused people is really overdone. Coming from San Francisco Bay area, or for that matter any major cities, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Location is quiet, with many hotels lined up. There is paid parking structure in the front of the hotel. Morning free breakfast overlooking the river walk was great. Very spacious,claen rooms. Step down to the river walk and few steps to Alamo and Plaza. All good!

Room 124 had a view that was awful and we had a homeless man sleeping outside our window. My daughter was so scared. The walls had graffiti and bad words. The bunk beds were so wobbly that no one could sleep on the top because they would start to sway like they’d fall over so we all had to squeeze on the bottom beds. The toilet started bubbling and sloshing around as if it was going to explode and we had to call maintenance. It was an overall extremely stressful stay, and I’m not one to leave bad reviews. But on the flip side the staff was friendly. I do not recommend staying in room 124 or any room on that side. I have pictures of the view and it’s terrible. It’s a dark empty room that’s been partially torn down and a vandalized building next to it, it’s where homeless people sleep which is fine but not when it’s right next to your window.

$50/day for parking was way too much. Staff was very friendly and competent. No bar or restaurant was a let down. After a long drive, a drink and some food without taking a walk would have been nice. Nice pool and view.

The hotel was on the River Walk and convenient to many tourist areas, including the Alamo. The Staff was helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The only reason I gave the hotel a 4 instead of 5 is is due to the fact that the computer system was down on arrival and again at check out time.

Clean and good house keeping. Room pictures were very deceptive. We had a room with 2 sets of Queen bunkbeds. The room was so small! You couldn’t even move around the beds let alone room for luggage. When asked about it they said they get that a lot, so maybe time to change your pictures? Very uncomfortable for family of 6. Also room was ground floor with homeless outside the window, very unsettling for the kids.

The staff was so helpful and kind! They made us feel welcome. They were sold out and our room wasn't ready, but they held our luggage for us so we could walk to the Alamo.

At the beginning or end of riverwalk which ever you want to say. This made hotel a lttle quieter. Breakfast was good. Shirt walk to the Alamo. Would stay there again

I liked the room layout and was very functional for this business visit. What I didn't like was the fact no one could seem to locate my Hilton Honors information so I believe I was charged a higher rate than I should have. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again

We paid almost $300 for one night and our view was an abandoned building nothing else was visible from our window..
