St Goar Apartment-Fantastic!
We LOVED our stay at this apartment, high up on the hill above St Goar... The apartment, while somewhat funky, was tastefully decorated, had everything we needed, and was clean... The bed was SUPER comfortable, and the shower, while tiny, worked great with plenty of water pressure... LOCATION!!! If you have a car, this is one of the BEST views EVER, super quiet, and just a joy to spend time both in and out of the apartment!!! And, we got to meet Thomas, the owner, and his siblings/family--super nice people! One caution, I'm just under 6'2'", and had to be careful to duck my head in a couple of places...

Charming & compact base for a short stay by the Rhine
The cottage is an unusual building but very well furnished and, if weather allows, with the added benefit of a substantial garden with many seating options. The views from house and garden are remarkable: a side valley from the Rhine, the flanking walls of a castle and part of Sankt Goarhausen the other side of the river. If anything the photos online understate the view and, sadly, anyone who suffers from vertigo might need to give this a miss. A viewing point for the Loreley is a few minutes drive and it’s about 45 minutes to Ruedesheim and the Rheingau. There are a number of car ferries across the Rhine which provide a regular service at €7.50 for car and two passengers one way. Highly recommended.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus.
Den Aufenthalt haben wir sehr genossen. Die Umgebung war traumhaft. Sehr schöner Garten und gepflegter Aussenbereich. Konnten aufgrund des Wetters den Garten leider nicht nutzen. Haben aber die schöne Gegend zu Fuss erkundet.

Das perfekte Urlaubsdomizil
In dieser gemütlichen und mit Herz eingerichteten Wohnung sind Erholung und Entspannung von der ersten Minute an garantiert. Die Lage ist perfekt für viele Ausflüge am Rhein und in der nahen Umgebung. Unvergesslich ist der Ausblick vom Schlafzimmer auf die Weinberge und bis zur Burg und dem Rhein.

Einfach Super!!!

Gerne wieder!
Eine ansprechende saubere und behagliche Unterkunft. Vom Haus aus kann direkt los gewandert werden. Die Ausstattung des FH ist gut. Uns fehlten nur scharfe Messer. Die haben wir ein nächstes mal wieder mit im Gepäck. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Super!!!
Helemaal geweldig. Het is een heerlijk huisje, de ligging is een droom. Links naast het huis is een prachtige tuin waar je compleet prive zit en een sprookjesachtig uitzicht hebt over de wijnvelden en de bergen. Boven is er ook nog een enorme tuin waar je gebruik van mag maken. Wij zaten graag beneden in de sprookjestuin met het meest wijde uitzicht ooit. We waren er zonder auto en dat is geen enkel probleem. Je loop zo naar het dorp waar je twee bakkers hebt en een kleine supermarkt waar ze alles verkopen wat je nodig hebt. Voor meer keus kun je naar Oberwesel, wij hebben dat met de trein gedaan binnen tien minuten, groot ingeslagen en met de taxi weer terug. Vlak in de buurt is er overigens ook een bushalte. In de buurt van het huisje zelf is ook nog een bakkertje. Verder is het zo prachtig wandelen, direct vanuit het huis en werkelijk alle kanten op. Mogelijkheden voor uit eten gaan zijn er vollop. Je bent zo bij de Rijn en tijdens de vele wandelingen die we maakten zagen we vaak de Rijn opdoemen. Het landschap is prachtig. De ligging van het huisje is rustig en stil, we kwamen er volledig tot rust. Iedere ochtend zagen we een roodborstje en een eekhoorn hun vaste rondes maken door de tuin. Natuurlijk hebben we ook vollop genoten van de wijn uit de streek. Het was een heerlijke vakantie, alles dik voor elkaar. En bij deze nog een heel hartelijke groet aan de verhuurders.

Ein traumhafter Ort um zu verweilen. Der Garten enthält mehrere schöne Sitzecken, wo man die Ruhe und den Ausblick genießen kann. Ein richtig schöner Aufenthalt.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr nett eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht. Das Highlight war für uns aber der Garten. Vor allem in der unteren Ebene hatte man das Gefühl, ganz für sich zu sein und das bei einem fantastischen Ausblick. Die Gegend ist fantastisch, aber was soll man zum Rheintal schreiben, das ist ja bekannt. Man kann direkt vom Haus loswandern, was wir reichlich gemacht haben. Absolute Empfehlung!

Het is een mooi en gezellig huisje, perfect voor 2 personen. Je kunt vanuit hete huisje mooie wandelingen maken en je bent op een paar minuten afstand van een prachtig kasteel die zeer de moeite waard is te bezoeken. Perfect verblijf dus voor ons!
