Indeed there is a brochure on the table of each room which you can find a detailed instructions in english. We appear and disappear suddenly, and we tried during the check-in to explain this and to clarify and that we live in the hotel and we are always available for anything you need, guests never disturb us. It is very important for us to read the comments and assessments of how was your stay at La Alcoba del Agua as it gives us the opportunity to improve our services, something in which we put enthusiasm and effort every day. First of all, we would like to apologise for the inconveniences and discomforts caused on the day of your arrival. Check-in process may take a bit longer to register your personal details. We are sorry about it. It is something that we are trying to improve in our learning process applied to new employees. As we told you on your check-out, we always tried to welcome guests as kind and fast as we can, trying to empathise with their needs and give details of any request of them. As regards the air conditioning in the lobby, we would like to inform you that there is an AC machine but it is not always on. We apologise if you did not find the temperature as you would like. This is a very important space for us as it is part of the first impression guests get and we always try to keep it cool and at a pleasant temperature for their arrival. Also, as an environmentally and planet friendly hotel we try to use energy as responsibly as possible and so sometimes, when we feel that the common areas are cool enough, we turn off the air-conditioning. If we detect that the temperature has risen, we turn it back on to keep the space cool until the evening. However, we insist that it is not always on because it is not necessary and because it is an environmentally friendly practice. As for the bottle of wine you ordered inside the lift just before you started to go up to your room, we thought you wanted to choose from the variety of bottles of white wine we have, as you did not specify which one you wanted before going to your room. This, and the fact that the hotel does not have room service, as you can see on the site where you made your reservation, led us to believe that you would come down to choose the bottle. We did not even have time enough to ask you if you would like us to bring it up to your room or if you would prefer to drink it in the garden. Anyway we apologise for this misunderstanding. Definitely your review left a bitter taste in our mouth, as we find it particularly painful. We consider that after a few hours staying at the hotel and understanding that the request for the bottle of wine was a misunderstanding with one of our new employees. Rated with the score you have given us it may be a bit unfair after your full experience. We believe as you told us that the breakfast and the treatment received, except for those minutes with our work colleague was excellent. Unfortunately for us you have not modified your review. Anyway, as we agreed upon your departure, we hope that you will give us the opportunity to see you again to provide you a next perfect experience.
