Perhaps my expectations were too high however the property is shared with a budget hotel, lots of dubious people at 6pm. I decided to stay at another place and forfeited one night. May be OK if you are on a budget, I had a new car and was concerned about security as well as noise.

You arrived mid-afternoon and asked us to cancel your reservation. As indicated in the conditions of sale, this was not possible. I honestly find it wrong of you to give us a bad evaluation when when you book, you know the conditions. Furthermore, you neither entered the rooms to judge whether it was clean or not, nor were there any suspicious people... that day, only people in transit for their departure on vacation.. . to give you your opinion, there are photos from our site, there are comments from other customers... so you can find out before your stay or you can choose a hotel in a higher category. A very convenient stop off on our journey South.
A typical Campanile, as described tho a bit dated.
Staff at check in very welcoming and efficient.
Room larger than average.
Parking outside the door.
All additional cleaning procedures seemingly followed.

Have stayed here several times both on our way south and our way north ... Very handy location off the Autoroute .. Very good restaurant and helpful staff

Thank you for your comment, we are very sensitive about the quality of reception and service in our hotel.
No soundproofing what so ever! Neighbours arrived at midnight then shouted at each other for the following 2 hours. Maybe a one off experience but proves no soundproofing between the rooms. I won’t be returning especially as price does not reflect quality here.
A very good hotel ... just of the motorway when travelling north ... very friendly staff . ..clean, warm rooms and a first class restaurant ... could not be bettered at this price - great value for money

Room was unbearably hot as air conditioning did not work. Hotel had no answer other than weather was too hot for it to cope!!!
Our room at rear was really noisy, due to lorrys in lorry park behind running their refrigeration through the night. No English tv

We have stopped for one night while driving through France. This is a simple hotel that offers all you need for one night stay as you would expect from this chain. We always use Campanile when we travel through France.

We stayed for one night to break our journey to the Alps for skiing. The hotel is just off the autoroute, no need to go into town. Hotel was basic but ideal for what we wanted. Bathroom ensuite, clean with good hot water. Restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast, well priced, nice wine and friendly service.
Having booked on line, I was pleasantly surprised to find my name immediately on screen at arrival
I had a very long load, and they even found a parking space for that. Good meal, and when we had 150mm of snow in the night, they even cleared that off the car before we left!

A convenient overnight stop en-route to Arles and the South.
The MOTEL offers small-size rooms with little space for movement. We had to ask for clean towels because the cleaners didn't leave clean ones! the toilet seat and shower aread hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival. Breakfast is not included in the price (10 EUR) not much variety on the breakfast counter. I'd give the hotel 2 stars out of 5 max considering the price we paid, the service we received and the amenities. The shower was great but I'm not sure whether the air extractor worked.
We have been staying here since 1996 but this year the service in the Restaurant was very poor. In addition the waste water in the basin would not empty, and when the bottle trap was unscrewed it was full of hair in the trap and in the pipe. We pulled a plug of 800mm of hair out of the waste pipe. There was other unidentifiable waste matter in the trap. On replacing the waste trap the basin worked perfectly. We mentioned this to the Manager on leaving and he was grateful. The whole Campanile group seems to have deteriorated since it was taken over. We will not be staying at Campanile Hotels again until they can get their act together. They used to be good value for money, now they are as expensive as a Three Star hotel in the South of France, but with a lower standard of service.
Room was very new and clean, and a short drive into the city. Bathroom was large, new, and spotless. Would highly recommend.

Good place for overnighting
Good place and right location for the right prifce
Camanile hotels are our first choice when travelling through France. They are clean and conveniently located and this one was no exception. It is definitely worth paying a few euros more to upgrade from other budget chain hotels. There is always a restaurant on site which serves really good food. The room was clean and comfy, we had a good evening meal and a good breakfast to send us on our way. Can't ask for more from a one night stopover.
Very adequate overnight hotel, evening food and breakfast good and well presented and served. At 5.5 hours from Calais and easy to get to off the motorway this is a good place to break a journey south.
Monsieur à la réception a été très désagréable. Manque de respect total. Grosse surprise au ptit dej : Le prix affiché sur internet comprend la chambre+le ptit dejeuner mais monsieur me demande de payer à la réception le ptit dej. Il n’a rien voulu entendre même avec preuve à l’appui. Vraiment déplorable. Aucun professionnalisme de la part du réceptionniste.

Votre commentaire ne présente aucun intérêt. Comme il vous l'a été stipulé lors de votre passage, l'erreur vient d'Expedia. Vos petits déjeuners n'étaient pas inclus dans votre réservation.Vous n'avez pas voulu écouter et avez vociféré au milieu du restaurant tout en refusant de payer ce que vous avez consommé.Nous ne pouvons tolérer un tel comportement
bien sauf laccueil et le tarif qui arnaque les gens.
j'ai payé 57 euros sur un site avec petit dejeuner inclus au moment de partir il mindique que je dois payer le petit dejeuner a 14.50 le petit dejeuner alors qu'il etait inclus une honte
