The property is close enough to the walking street to be convenient, but the rooms themselves still feel removed from the noise. Everything is clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet is extensive, and all the staff are friendly and professional.

The sand was super fine and water at the beach was clear and beautiful. There were however many boats hovering around the beach that did not give it a private beach feel. Very convenient to get to the walking street for more food options but food at the hotel was good & reasonable priced. Staff service was good as most of them could speak English. A reception staff Mida was especially helpful & welcoming.

The front of the hotel, restaurant, pool and bar are really nice. The beach is nice too. The rooms near the front, which are villas, are all impressive looking and are probably pretty nice. The rooms towards the back are like a holiday inn and do not make you feel like you are on a cool island like Koh Lipe. I do not recommend those rooms. The hotel does an outstanding job at the daily breakfast. This hotel is run pretty well.

Had a great stay at Akira Lipe. Pool and beach are fantastic. Restaurant food is quite good as well. Room was fantastic, everything was very clean & comfortable. Good location for the hotel as well. Lipe is small so you can walk anywhere from the hotel.

This property was second to none on Pattaya beach. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The front and beach area are lively but very quiet in the room. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Very close to walking street. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Defo deserves a 5* status
Lovely time at the Akira Lipe which has huge rooms. They have a choice of 3 pools and a useable gym! Breakfast was good as well as they also picked me up at the boat drop off point.

Great hotel and great staff. You can tell the hotel pays great attention to detail. Staff picked us up at the pier and gave us welcome drinks a wet towel for instance. Just one major issue; during breakfast, the egg and bacon was fried on the same pan and the same grill and hence, I couldn't eat the eggs. Some guests may not eat bacon or may be vegetarian. Coming from Europe, I was shocked to see this. Thailand may be more relaxed about these things but considering hotel serves guests from all over the world, I think they should pay attention to this. Otherwise, a great stay. Thank you!

Beautiful
A truly beautiful place to stay especially since we got upgraded to a Villa in the garden. Nothing was too much trouble - only (small) complaint - Housekeeping did not refresh the free coffee/tea every day so some mornings there was no coffee to wake you up.

Good Rooms but Restaurant is a big miss
Great pool side rooms and facilities. But the restaurant and service leave a lot to be desired. We attempted to eat at the hotel a few times for lunch and dinner. Each time it resulted in a 1.5-2 hour wait for cold food or us cancelling our order and finding street food. Stay for the great pools but make sure to research better dinner options.

100% PERECT
Beautiful hotel. Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. Comfortable, quiet, spacious rooms, good restaurant with great food selection at very reasonable prices. The staff were so good which shows a sign of good management. I cant recommend this hotel enough, it deserves 10 out of 10!

Great place to stay. Highly recommended.
This is an amazing property. Beautiful view of the beach , awesome pools , 3 in all , so none were crowded. Rooms are spacious and new. We had asked for an extra bed, which was already set up in the room. I would recommend staying on the ground floor with direct access into the pool. Those rooms were nicer. The breakfast is vast and very nice. I only have two complaints - we were there 3 days and the cleaners came very day to clean the room , but didnt clear the fruit plate, banana skins were lying in the room for 3 days till I finally kept them outside the room to clear. Secondly the tea bags and coffee sachets were not replenished when they got over.

Honeymoon story: We arrived to Kho Lipe on December 11th after escaping the disappointment that is Phi Phi after only one day on that Island. The “resort” we booked on Phi Phi was terrible and super remote from everything so we decided to checkout early and get on a speedboat to Lipe. Trying to make things better, I was looking for a clean and relaxing resort close to the beach. I came across Akira and it looked promising enough so I booked it for two nights because we already had a reservation with a different resort on the island for 4 nights beginning December 13. BY FAR the best decision we’ve made during our time in Thailand! The staff is amazing! The front desk, the bell boys the bartenders, housekeeping and especially Eak (the food and beverage manager) who was SO accommodating to us because we didn’t have much to eat as we are Vegan. He went out of his way and made sure the kitchen prepares a vegan Curry for us. The pool is super clean and inviting and there is happy hour (but 1 get 1 free) EVERY Day from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. We got to the room (#623-second level room with a separate pool downstairs, right next to the Gym and Kids Club) and it was the cleanest we’ve seen. All of the amenities and facilities are kept in a SUPERB condition and the maintenance crew is always around to help. Fast forward to the 13th, we checked out and got to the other resort. We took one look and turned around back to Akira. We booked the Villa for 4 more nights (: Eidan

if booking during hurricane season
Due to a hurricane, we (4 of us, had booked 2 suites) could not reach the island and boats were cancelled for the next few days. When we contacted the resort, the hotel management did not care.. even during a natural calamity (note that this disaster was on the front page news, Aug2019)...forget a refund for the cancellation they were not even ready for rebooking the booked nights to another month! Atrocious customer care. So if booking during hurricane season, dont expect any customer concern or care.

Paradise in Koh Lipe
This is a beautiful resort and the service and cleanliness showed they cared about their guests. The room was large with a nice sitting area and nightly tirn down service. The location is great with just a short walk down the beach to t hff e walking street. We loved it and would most definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic hotel as everything so convenience and staffs are helpful. The location is strategic with walking distances to the walking street and arrival/departure counter. Room is clean and with very nice pools. I definitely will choose the same hotel when I come back to Koh Lipe.

Loved it!
We had an amazing stay at this hotel, I think it was the most comfortable on the island as it had a lovely pool overlooking the beach. Our room was Stunning and kept very clean. Great stay.
