Second floor was noisy as people walked overhead

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Location near highway
Cons: Another mirror would help with getting ready; cleaning the sofa cushions between guests; carpet or rugs to lessen overhead noise
Thin walls; very noisy overhead when people walked; woke us up; not enough towels for the three of us - had to call front desk; when we opened the sofa to make the bed there were crumbs and dirt under the cushions; only one mirror in the suite; breakfast was sufficient; front desk staff were quick and capable.

Clean and Odor Free

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Its location and adequacy.
Cons: Queen beds instead of doubles; repainting
Location: The location was close to family. The location is close to restaurants and shopping
Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Room was adequate to our needs. Nothing derogatory could be said about our stay

First arriving at hotel, you walk in and it smells like dirty laundry and animals. Entering the room we were blasted with the stench of smoke, and mildew. The comforter had holes, the lights flickered, the room was dirty, there were black hairs all throughout the sheets, and breakfast was disgusting... Pay more and stay somewhere else!

If you sleep light do not stay at the Red Roof Inn

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: The price.
Cons: The smell of the hotel could be better. Also showers could be kept mold free .
Location: Steak and Shake is the best!!!
Hotel had a musty smell and the walls must be paper thin as the rather normal conversations of our neighbors could be heard. Also the wood floors resulted in very excellent transmission of the upstairs neighbors every footstep. The constant growling of tractor trailers on the interstate added to the ambiance.

The stay was alright. The walls are very thin so I could here the loud talking from both rooms that we were in between. In order to watch tv we had to turn the tv all the way up in order to hear it.

Reliably fair

Have stayed here before, and it is reliable, but not fancy. There does seem to be some renovations happening, but the halls are messy and the public spaces have signs of wear.
