Visiting Savannah for the first time.Posted Jun 1, 2015
My husband and I made an impulse trip to Savannah. We wanted to stay in the historic district and came across the Gastonian Inn. This was our first visit to Savannah. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The walk to the riverfront (where a lot of activity takes place) was about a mile. Although the Inn was very nice we thought it was a bit pricey. There wasn't a coffee pot in the room yet I'm sure the staff would have been happy to deliver a cup if requested. The kitchen dining was a bit small when several couples were in there at the same time. I think for the same price we could have gotten a hotel room closer to the riverfront. All in all we experienced staying at an Inn and can check that off our bucket list. Again for a mid week stay the price was too high.

terrible beds and very noisy roomPosted May 21, 2015
Be aver this is adult only hotel! Charge additional $50 for four guests even though I booked 4 persons room... Beds were very uncomfortable. Hotels room was not in perfect condition, couldn't close door to the bathroom. On good note, breakfast was really nice, only negative about it was, we needed to make our breakfast selection night before, even after we checked in at 10 pm...

We felt at home, enjoyed the hospitalityPosted Apr 28, 2015
The charm of this property makes it stand out, the service was superb. The rooms adorable, the house felt as if you were home with friends. We were pampered all day with offerings. Thanks to carol we had a wonderful check in, Walter and Antonio gave us the lay of the land while taking us to our rooms. James, Ron and Mario made us feel like old friends while they fed us every morning. Never a dull moment with these three. We hope to come back

would stay here again for surePosted Apr 6, 2015 on Hotels
Great small hotel in a great location. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast prepared to order. Delicious afternoon snacks and evening dessert prepared onsite by chef. It is nice to interact in an intimate setting like the dining room and living room with other guests. The location is close to Forsyth Park. You don't need to drive to most places, which are a nice walk through the network of parks.

Savannah GetawayPosted Feb 15, 2015
The staff at the Gastonian MADE our recent get away! My adult daughter and I visited the city for 5 nights. The concierge provided us with perfect suggestions and reservations for dinner. She also secured great tickets to see Harry Connick Jr. The breakfasts, hor d'oerves, and desserts were all delicious. We will definitely return when visiting Savannah
