“Hot tub area and sauna could use some updating, the pillows in the room were extremely uncomfortable. Everything else was good. ”

The onsite restaurant was a 15 out of 10, and again service above and beyond so many places in this day and age. “This is a no-frills hotel. However we had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in our room. VERY spacious. Staff were friendly and at the front desk when we needed them to be there. A lady came to our door once to see if we needed fresh towels (we were there for 6 days). We will stay here on a return visit. Thanks Pier Blue staff”

“I loved the Greenporter, staff was amazing. A few things, perhaps a few prints on the walls, remove the old phone jacks they are very obvious. Also a power strip to plug in multiple devices. Otherwise, great, clean, spacious and very modern. ”

“This is my second stay at this motel. My room was cozy and the setup is good for one person or a couple. It was quiet and parking was easy. The staff was again friendly and the outside of the property is neat. My only complaint is the mattress is hard as a rock. There is no box spring, just a mattress. I think this is standard for Motel 6. Something they should reconsider. Even folks trying to stay somewhere on a budget need a comfortable, restful sleep.”

“Great motel all around and delivers on its promise of providing accomodation. Room is serviced every day and they change everything. It's located in a very inconvenient part of Old Saybrook where you have to drive quite a bit to go anywhere. It is right by highway 95 which you can hear all night.”
