Room was clean. Road noise was minimal (considering proximity to I-95). Linen was smell and stain free. Mattress was best I've had in decades (if you like firm, which I do). Down side is the facility shows its age but you get what you pay for, without the normal bad stuff (see above). It was clean, quiet, and just a short ride to places in Old Saybrook and Westbrook. But although it offers a free continental breakfast, the offerings are minimal. After my first breakfast at the motel, I ate out. The only negative is that it's so close to the highway that you hear the traffic go by.
