I am sorry you did not like our quirky vintage motel, perhaps you did not take the time to read our welcome email or look at the pictures on Expedia. We are not a Holiday inn for sure but we provide clean comfortable rooms at an excellent price for area. I apologies for not having a luggage rack, all the rooms have them, a previous guest must have mistakenly taken the one in this room and we did not notice. The beds have a substantial blanket, a bedspread and a fleece throw, there were additional blankets in the dresser, You arrived at 4:00 pm, you only had to ask if you needed more blankets or anything, I was sitting in the office until 7:00 pm that evening. Not quite sure where we should hang the towels other than the towel rack? And behind the faucet, really? we had replaced the faucet recently and there were a few specs of putty there. Again sorry you did not like your stay.

Sorry you did not like our 1950's Motel. We are on route 1 but there is very little traffic noise after 9 pm, we are set back 200 feet from the road, weird as no-one has ever mention traffic noise to us. Noisy walkway? There are only 5 rooms on the "walkway" and most guests retire early, we did have a wedding party staying that weekend and I apologies as I think they did return a little later around 10 pm. As for the beds, some like them soft, some like them hard. I am sorry they were not to your liking.

I am so sorry that you had an unpleasant experience, but reading your review made me wonder if you even stayed at our place. Firstly, we answer the emergency number 24 hours a day, even in the middle of the night. We do have voicemail but it certainly does not say "you know what to do" and we have not received any voicemail at all this season (because we always answer the phone). Perhaps you miss-dialed?Regarding the door, I do apologize, all the rain we have had recently has caused some of the doors to be a little sticky, which you obviously figured out and were able to get into the room without problem.You texted at 7:32 am for the Wifi password and we immediately replied with the password and mentioned the poster on the wall with information about the Motel, breakfast etc.Additionally, the wifi information was sent to you in an email prior to your arrival along with breakfast information (and the door code to get in).The beds are mostly new, had we had any complaints previously about them we would have immediately checked them out, which we will do now. Lousy coffee? We have 5 varieties of Keurig coffee available in the breakfast room from 6 am to 9 pm. From 7 - 9 am we also make locally roasted freshly ground and brewed coffee every morning, which most of our guests love.Again sorry you did not enjoy your stay.

Thanks for your review. As our first one on Expedia - a new partner for us - we were a little disappointed to get a 3. Since we took over the Motel 2 years ago we have had mostly 5 star reviews on Google with a few 4's. Sure we are not a resort but then again our prices reflect that. We provide clean simple rooms with a continental style breakfast in the middle of Mid Coast Maine for a very reasonable price. Hope we see you again.
