Great quiet location on the beach!
Overall enjoyed the stay. To note this property is on the second floor and you have stairs inside to the 3rd floor master bedroom, outdoor portion. As soon as you enter the water there is alot of rocks for 10-15 feet before you hit the sand portion of the water part. Was uncomfortable getting in and out. That was the only thing I can complain about. But besides that was awesome budget friendly option. Definitely rent a car if you plan on staying here.

It is indeed a 2nd and 3rd floor unit, with a fantastic roof top terrace off the primary bedroom, as stated in the property description. We always recommend that our guests rent a car, as the property is private and secluded and the Kimpton SeaFire Hotel is the only thing within a 5-10 minute walk away. Corner of Beach and Paradise
Sundowner is the perfect location to experience all that Seven Mile has to offer. The beachfront is truly exquisite. The property is clean, spacious and well-stocked. A home away from home! The rooftop patio is the perfect place to enjoy Cayman sunsets and you can easily walk along the beach to several hotels and restaurants for a meal or drink. We appreciated the beach towels and beach furniture available to us as well. Sundowner has thought of everything! Our family had a wonderful vacation and we look forward to returning next year.

Paradise
The condo was beautiful and the view was just like a postcard - simply breathtaking. It was very quite as the building is set back off the main road. The condo is very well stocked. A few items that would be nice are a pizza cutter, oven mitts and maybe some insulated glasses to take down to the beach.

Beautiful condo on the beach
This was a clean updated condo on the beach, that was well stocked. Great view from the second floor balcony, and a great place to have your coffee! It was nice to have a cooler, floaties, and beach loungers! A grill would have been a great addition! Quiet area and good location!

Fabulous stay on Seven Mile Beach
Sundowner 8 was lovely. The location was pristine and quiet. The condo was well supplied, and the property manager, Chanel, was kind and very helpful. You can swim and snorkel straight from the beach behind unit, or walk about a mile north up the beach to some of the best snorkeling that we saw our entire trip. The condo was sparkling clean when we arrived and everything was as advertised. The pictures are accurate (2023) and the beach truly looks like paradise. I would definitely come again! My only advice to others is to note that this condo is on the 2nd floor and then has indoor stairs up to the bedroom and porch, and those stairs are steep and very slippery! This was not an issue for my husband and I, but if you had small children or have mobility issues it could pose a problem.

The stairs in the unit are safe and have been inspected and passed by 3 different CI Government departments and has a Tourism Accommodation License for the 2023 to 2024 accommodation year. A little piece of paradise!
We had an excellent time staying in this apartment. It is located in an ideal place – isolated enough from the crowds but still within an enjoyable walk on the beach to the livelier areas on the 7-mile beach and to most restaurants. The apartment is clean, modern, and very well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Communication with the property manager was pleasant and easy and check-in was seamless. We loved that the unit was only a few steps away from the water! We truly enjoyed having breakfasts on the balcony and a relaxing time on the beach, always with ample lounge chairs and umbrellas readily available. We sure miss this little paradise!

Perfect Little Spot
100% the best little place. Super clean with all necessary amenities. Thank you for the special gift upon arrival. Updated with cute bathrooms, clean lines, and light colored furniture. Fresh and beachy. Stunning view. Close to everything yet off the beaten path. Snorkeling right offshore. Informative guest books and pamphlets available upon arrival. It was great to have a Kitchen. Basic kitchen staples, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in every bathroom, blow dryers, and a washer and dryer made made our stay even more hassle free.

Cayman Islands 1st time visiting trip
We had a really nice time & the condo we stayed at was in a great location right on the beach & on the west side of the island. The condo was well stocked and everything was great. Wish the property owner would have had a cooler & a few beach chairs that we could have used while we went to other beaches on the island. Also, when you cooked the venting isn't so good, house fills with smoke really fast so we just opened up the sliding windows & everything was okay. Would have like a few better cooking pans to use, the ones there were would make the food stick to the pan. Also, wish they had a few plastic storage containers for food.. We loved the location and it was quiet area & the beach was nice to have right outside of the condo for morning swims and even evening swims. You can get to most locations on the island very easily from the condo.

Excellent location right on the beach
My family took a short trip to the Cayman Islands and we found this wonderful condo. It was centrally located, very clean, well stocked and right on the beach. It was perfect for our family of 3. The property manager was very responsive and surprised us with a few welcome gifts. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

This property was perfect for us. We are a family of 3, it could fit more, but we did not need anymore space. It was just as it said, all renovated and very clean. The location is spot on!! The beach is very quiet and steps away from your door!!!! Balcony is great for breakfast and sunsets!!! The neighbors live there and were very nice. We walked down to the Seafire for most of our excursions through Red Sail Sports. Which I must recommend Red Sail Sports for all your excursions, they were absolutely great!! We went diving, sting Ray city, Rum Point, jet skiing, snorkeling and diner cruise and I can’t say one negative thing about Red Sail Sports!! We had dinner on the beach at Seafire, which was great. I really did not need to contact our property manager because I had no issues!! I would definitely stay there again in the future. We want to go back already!

Beautiful and well-appointed condo
Sundowner is a beautiful and clean condo with breathtaking views of the beach below. It is located in a fantastic location…right on the water in a quiet and private area just a short walk north on the beach from the restaurants and hotels. The property manager, Joyce, was so helpful and provided us with lots of great recommendations for activities, food shopping, and restaurants. She checked in with us before, during, and at the end of our stay. It was so nice to know someone was there if we needed anything. We are sad to leave the island, but know we will return here again.

Fabulous location
My daughter and I were vacationing in Grand Cayman for the first time for one week. The location of this condo is perfect. It has been newly renovated so everything is clean and well done. The bathrooms and kitchen were great. It is right on the beach and there are lounge chairs to use. It is very close to restaurants and other amenities. The best part was the incredibly helpful and kind property manger - Joyce. She was gave us so many great suggestions from restaurants to shopping to places to go. She was so available for simple questions along with more involved ones. We really could not have asked for a better place to stay in all regards. Hope to come back!

The property manager was very accommodating and responsive. She provided helpful information about the area. The rental unit was very clean with updated furniture. The kitchen was well equipped. We loved the quieter area and proximity to West Bay restaurants. We also enjoyed snorkeling in front of the property. There is a full time resident in the next condo. He is very nice and also provided recommendations in the area.

A peaceful paradise
We loved our stay in the Sundowner! The condo was updated and very clean. Any time we had a question, Janice was quick to respond. The beach felt like it was ours to have with very few people. Snorkeling was amazing! Would come back for sure!

Wonderful stay
Really enjoyed the unit we stayed in with very friendly neighbours! The place was clean, ready on time, beautiful views and literally steps from gorgeous Seven Mile Beach. Everything you needed was included (even beach towels!) Had a few issues figuring out the tv remotes and Rashid was extremely prompt and helpful with this issue and didn’t make us feel silly about asking. Couldn’t want for better response time and service. Just be prepared for a very quiet location on the beach which is wonderful, but is it a little remote from restaurants and stores. Thank you!

Just Perfect!
We absolutely loved our stay at Sundowner 8. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and great location. There is a gorgeous beach out front - beautiful fluffy sand and crystal clear water. You can walk the beach for miles and it is clean and quiet. The large rooftop patio has beautiful views and nice furniture, we really enjoyed having coffee in the mornings and stargazing at night. This complex is on a very quiet area of Seven Mile Beach, we decided it is our favorite part of the island. The manager, Joyce, is lovely and super helpful. We will definitely stay here on our next visit!

Quiet location
Our family of 6 stayed at Sundowners and loved it. It was very peaceful and relaxing. No waking up early to reserve your beach chairs, there were always some available. The condo was recently renovated and very clean. Joyce, the property manger was wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location, newly renovated condo
We are regular Caribbean travelers and would rate 8 Sundowner as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was close to a big supermarket which was handy, and not far to dozens of restaurants and cafes. Manager Joyce was great. We would highly recommend this wonderful condo.

This is located in the most beautiful spot on 7 mile beach. Idyllic beach front away from the throngs of the tourists. Great apartment, very well stocked and lovely property staff who were superb to deal with - nothing was too much trouble! The balcony is the most wonderful place to see sunrise and sunsets - will definitely come again!

A True Gem by Seven Mile Beach
With it being me and family’s first time in Grand Cayman, we wanted to stay somewhere by the beach. We stumbled upon this listing and thought it was a perfect match. The pictures of the home don’t do it justice, as it was much even better in person! The home is immaculate, tastefully decorated with modern appliances & furniture - our stay only got better as time went by. With respect to the electronics, there are 3 TV’s equipped with most up to date streaming platforms, which my kids heavily enjoyed. Its location proved to be accessible in many areas, yet it still gave enough privacy for us to enjoy. The name, Sundowner, makes perfect sense as we watched the sunset every single day we stayed here. Highly recommended! Highly recommended!

Exquisite secluded beachfront condo
Sundowner 8 was incredibly well appointed and we could not believe how secluded this part of Seven Mile Beach was! The condo was super clean and having been recently updated, it had everything we needed and more. We were often times the only ones on the white sand beach. I would say more but I’m afraid everyone will find out about this gem and it won’t be available when we return! Danny & Jen
