Private lake house right off the main channel. The house sits on nearly 2 acres. All water front! Close to 3 marinas. All less than a 10 minute boat ride. Bubba Brews, Lakeview Boat Dock and Hickory Star Marina. The marinas offer boat rentals. Comfortably sleeps 6. 2 queen beds and 2 couches. Large outdoor porch and seating area. Fire pit off of deck. Covered Dock available for your use. Great family getaway!

Awesome location!
This is our 2nd stay at this property and we hope to return next summer as well. The house is just as listed, the dock is perfect, and the location within the cove itself is top notch. It is great for a family gathering and suits my family’s needs perfectly. Lynsey is so kind and considerate and has always been great to communicate with!

Great place overall, definitely secluded
This was a decent little getaway! Cute, clean cabin, private secluded cove with only one neighbor. Close boat ride to Bubba’s Brews…good food and awesome atmosphere. I didn’t deduct any stars but there was a slight issue with the dock stairs. The steps on the last section of stairs are not wide enough, if you aren’t prepared you’ll tear your calves up and bust your butt. My husband and I had to turn sideways to walk down then without falling and we aren’t large people. Heads up to any fellow epiPen Mamas, the dock is infested with mud daubers, you cannot sit on the dock and enjoy swimming…they are literally everywhere and give you no personal space. Luckily they aren’t aggressive like wasps but still unnerving when you’re in the middle of no where with ZERO cell service and your kid is allergic to stings. I know nature isn’t always preventable but there was so many nests, removal/treatment would be acceptable here. Also, we were told we could park our boat trailer at the top of the driveway. I absolutely do not recommend this. The last bit of road to the house was barely wide enough for our truck alone. We spent the first hour after my husband arrived with the boat trying to turn the boat trailer around by hand while not losing it off the cliff. Then there was barely room to turn the truck itself around. It had to dangle off the side way too much for my liking to get it turned. This driveway/parking situation is certainly small car friendly only, maybe a small small truck.My husband drives truck and trailer almost every day so wasn’t an operator error. Last tip…use Beach Island marina to launch your boat…it’s the closest and easiest to get to by far. My husband got lost three times on his way from the one that was recommended for us to use, and with zero cell service we could not get a hold of each other. Definitely some freak out moments waiting for him and two of my kiddos at the cabin forever.

Very nice but..listing decieving
The cabin itself was very nice but the decorations were overkill! It was not user friendly. In the listing it stated we were not to move furniture or decorations. This made putting anything in the bathroom impossible because the counter space and the drawers were all occupied with items. There is no washer or dryer for public use. There was no Wi-Fi or Internet, or cell reception at least for Verizon. The outside furniture was dirty as was the grill. The dock was not secured properly and was what we thought unsafe for use. There was no toaster or coffee pot. Although there was a Keurig. Bottom line the listing is somewhat misleading and deceiving so pay close attention. If all of this would have been made known prior to our arrival we would have been better prepared. There was no working light at the entrance which made entering the cabin difficult at night.

Quick getaway
We enjoyed the seclusion of this property and we’re able to enjoy what we could. The lake level was so low the dock was not safely accessible, but the the weather was a little cold so we used the fire pit. The host had excellent communication and recommended two places we really enjoyed. We did not have any cell service which was just what we needed for a great getaway

Last 2 steps that led to dock were loose. Then we had to hang on to a rope and slide down 3-4 feet of dirt to get to dock. Hazardous. There was only 1 table on the property and it was outside on the deck. We told the hostess the light wasn't working on the deck and she said the light was probably burnt out and she would tell her husband. He wouldn't come and fix it so consequently we had to grill and eat by flashlight. It was too high for us to reach to change ourselves. I have a physical handicap and fall frequently when it is dark, so we were unable to enjoy being outside. Had they told us we needed to bring a ladder we could have been prepared and fixed the light ourselves since they wouldn't. The furniture outside was filthy. The mattresses were disgusting. There was a kcup left in the Keurig from the previous occupants. There were ants all over the kitchen. The bathtub took a long time to drain and had a hole in it. They told us we couldn't move any furniture or decorations but they covered every surface so we had to put our things on the floor. We loved being on the lake but would not recommend this property.

Amazing Getaway at Norris
Awesome Vacation at a great location on Lake Norris. We stayed four nights and kept our 24 foot boat at the covered dock. Great cove to fish with lots of privacy. The cabin was very clean and all the amenities of home. Only regret was that I didn’t have any of my Grandchildren with me. They absolutely would have loved the kayaks. The owner was easy to communicate with before and during our trip.

Peaceful!!
Had a wonderful stay! Perfect size for our family. Everything was clean and the location was perfect. Easy to get to cabin from marina on boat, about a 10 minute boat ride. Kitchen pretty well stocked minus a toaster, and they have a Kurig instead of a coffee maker so make sure you purchase those. They did provide K cups but we are huge coffee drinkers and drink more than they supplied. Def giving a 5 star rating!
