You could hear everything the people in the room beside you was doing. There was cigarette burns on the blankets, sheets,floor and curtains.

This is a low rate motel at about $75-80 per night. Based on the condition of the room and grumpy owner, it should be $60 or less. Property condition example: cigarette burns in rugs and sheets, some roaches, mold in bathtub tile and ceiling, some whole in walls, bathroom door knob inoperable, phone doesn't work. The maids do a great job cleaning, but the rooms are not good!

Basic, no frills.
The room was generally clean, but roaches wete in the room. The management is apparently aware of this, since there was a roach trap in the room. I only stayed here because the hotels that I would have stayed in were fully booked (holiday weekend). I was booked for two nights, but was charged for three nights (since corrected). This place is okay as a last resort for a night or two. Hopefully, I wonder have to stay again.

The manager attempted to charge my card before I even arrived, even though I had chosen the pay upon arrival option. Because I was not able to respond to the text requesting to approve the charge, he ended up canceling my reservation. Also, when I arrived, nobody was at the desk. nobody answered the doorbell. I had to call the phone number just to be able to check in. Manager had an extremely poor attitude the whole time, making faces and rolling his eyes at me and seemed to not want to honor the reservation. Inside the room, there was a poorly repaired hole in the wall and No deadbolt and the door appeared to be barely hanging on by its hinges. The peephole had a piece of paper stuffed in it and I definitely did not feel secure while staying there.

A very pleasant visit
I booked at Red Carpet because other hotels at my destination were booked. I was skeptical because I have had bad experiences previously when booking at unknown properties. I was pleasantly surprised/impressed. Our room was the cleanest of any room I have ever stayed in. The bedding was nice, the bed was very comfortable, the refrigerator was new and clean and had been defrosted. There was a new microwave. You could tell that the owner/manager took pride in their hotel. Some of the furniture was a little old but everything was functional. My wife and I had a great night’s sleep and our visit was enjoyable. This isn’t a luxury hotel but I would gladly stay here again. It was a great value for the money. I say all this not only as an experienced traveler but I also was an architect for a major hotel company and project manager for a luxury hotel. P.S. the grounds were well kept and the owner had a cute garden.

Most disgusting room I’ve ever been in along with many health and safety code violations. Burn holes in bedsheets, lights that don’t work, loose electrical outlets, missing smoke detector, exposed wires, torn bath mat, torn and deeply stained towels, broken chair, moldy soap bar, black mold in bathroom, unplugged bathroom vent and much more.

Found a live cockroach on the wall so I sleep with all the lights on. Obviously the hot water at the sink and bath tub are different. Never got hot out of sink. And because I was on end unit it took forever to get hot water in the shower. For $80 no breakfast or snacks.... Never stay again

Didn't like waking up to bugs in the towels and on the counters when i tried to shower. I understand its humid, and as such bugs ar going to be present, but spraying down the place with pesticide of sorts on occassion wouldn't hurt.

Good place to sleep it was really quiet. The people we was next too was super nice always spoke. The only thing that I didn’t like was the roaches for the most part the bed was clean no stains on the sheets. I was suggest bringing shower shoes because the tub was peeling but other than that my stay was pretty decent

Walls were very dirty to begin with burn holes in the floor and chair tried not to look for more, beds were not comfortable feels like they needed new ones a few years ago very clear the carpets had not been vacuumed there was rust in the shower and the bugs oh my goodness we found cockroaches we even have a video of them in the bathroom I’m not usually very harsh but this is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at definitely need a change in management or honestly just to start over

The cost for this hotel is listed between $70 - $80 per night. The cost should be $55 - $60 per night. Everything in the room is very old: towels, sheets, pillows, furniture. The bathrooms need a major disinfectant cleaning. The keys for the room always fail. Lastly, 1/2 of the clients staying at the hotel give the appearance of the roughest crowd.

My opinion is that this is a 1.5 start hotel. There is nothing good, but you can sleep, bath and watch tv. The cleaning crew is good, but the maintenance is bad. Everything is old, rust in bathtubs, doorknobs, etc. The cost of this hotel is the problem. Depending on when you stay it will cost $70-80. It should be $55-60.

Go somewhere else if you can
White and dark stains on the bedding as well as rips in the blankets. Small beetles on the bathroom floor in the middle of the night and the bathtub made a terribly loud gurgling noise periodically. I would definitely have paid more for a better hotel if there was availability anywhere else.
