Very nice, clean and spacious room! Usually I don’t trust the hotel’s own photos on booking apps, but this one looked exactly as is, very presentable. The bathroom was big with a lovely bathtub and window to bedroom which made it feel nice and open (with blinds if privacy is needed) and a separate, strong shower. Water pressure perfect and hot water all day. Most of the staff spoke English and were very helpful, friendly and accommodating! Only downside was the mattress felt a little like it was sinking in the middle (not too firm or maybe a little old) but it was still a comfy sleep if I shuffled to the side. And the location is a little far from attractions/ restaurants/ shops but it’s easy enough to get a taxi or DiDi to wherever you need to go. I would definitely stay here again.

Shenzhen work trip
Spent a few days here this week, its kind of a trip back to the 90s decor wise but apart from the first room smelling a damp I enjoyed the stay. English speaking staff are super friendly and go beyond attentitive. Breakfast buffet was adequate but not expansive with healthy options.

Five-Star Feel
I was absolutely blown away by the experience and amenities at a hotel and would recommend this to anyone looking for a five-star feel in a relatively up and coming fresh district in China. The rooms had super comfy bath areas and reminded me of something you would find JW Marriott for Mandarin hotel - Just wow. The breakfast buffet could improve a bit with its Western selections however, it certainly did not disappoint when it came too much of the local staple foods and quality was certainly good. The gym facilitiy was also a plus with an included dry sauna which made it very inviting for me the next time I stay. Overall: a great stay and will recommend it to others , and look to stay here again in the future.

Modern&clean hotel. But need to improve in service
This hotel building and interior were very good, modern, and clean. The staff was quite helpful in helping us finding places to go. For breakfast, the food is quite various and tasty, also the nice things was the chef was willing to cook speacial meal for my vegetarian husband. The drawbacks, however, they charged my 3-year-old daughter for the breakfast. It costs around RMB 51 if I’m not mistaken. It’s not much, but still, I never been charged before in any 5-star hotels for my kids’ breakfast. One more quite silly thing I guessed, remember not to bring their laundry bag when you checked-out because they will charge you RMB 50. In most hotels it was given for free but not this one.

Loved my stay at L'Hermitage. The staff were super helpful, one of the best hotel stays I have experienced. The room was comfortable, clean and well maintained and the bed was as comfortable as you can get. It is located near Shenzhen University in a suburban street with plenty of shops (convenience store, dry cleaner and restaurants/fast food etc.) within close walking distance. 20 minute taxi ride to most city center locations and only 10 minutes from a major shopping center filled with restaurants, cafes and world famous brands.

Hotel is absolutely amazing. Clean room, nice bathroom, nice bathtub. Only one minor thing that not good enough is the location. It is quite difficult to find a public transport. Even a taxi.

The location is not close to subway but there is a bus stop close by. There are no tourist attractions in the area. The breakfast is good with a lot of selection.

I was very happy with my stay until I was told that I would be charged a hefty fee for a mysterious stain that was on the other side of a pillow; a stain that was not created by me. I protested paying the fee, but to no avail. I was left bemused and humiliated by the accusatory front desk manager.

Good Hotel in City for Businessmen
Had a great time here. It's inside a city district so expect there aren't a lot of places to visit. Lots of food selection around the area especially if you're willing to walk about 10-20 minutes. There are english-speaking staff. The rooms are clean all the time and very spacious. Their outlet supports most kinds of plugs. They also have hdmi ports in case you want to work with a larger screen like on the tv. Internet speed is average but I was able to access everything without a vpn. Their breakfast menu is more or less the same everyday so you might get tired of it if you're staying here for some time.

Truly a GEM in the heart of Nanshan
I stayed for a total of 7 nights at the L'Hermitage. Overall it was truly a wonderful experience. Everything from the professional staff reception to the concierge and room service was excellent. The room was large and clean and was refreshed daily. Wifi was fast, HDMI hookup from my laptop to the in-room TV allowed me to conduct a professional business meeting. My requests for additional water bottles and dental kit were delivered fast and in a courteous manner. I was extremely satisfied with my stay here and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I’ve stayed in this hotel many times now. Extremely polite and friendly staff, with ability to speak many languages, so ideal for a range of international travellers. Great room, and the King Room has a very comfy bed. Would I recommend this for all would be travellers looking for a great priced hotel in Shenzhen, most definately..

Large comfortable rooms; value for money
Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Service is of a high quality, Many of the staff speak English well. Hotel internet is very fast. Great for business trips. Highly recommended as offering great value for the price.
