The good: Not too far from airport; relatively clean, inexpensive, pool. The bad: no hot water in bathroom sink; too dimly lit room; no place to sit with chair.

Excellent stay to visit temples and chill
The service Andy staff is really good. We really enjoy the swimming pool while drinking juice fruit. The room was big and with a fridge and everything. We really liked this hotel. We have been travelling for 2 months around SE Asia and Bou Savy was , from far, the hotel with the best Quality/Price ratio.

The noise is terrible
The noise of the neighborhood of the hotel is terrible. There was a loud speaker going on whole day as the hotel is just next to school and the temple. You rather want to stay outside of the town just not to hear the chanting on a loud speaker all day.

BOUtiful place
Stayed here 14 nights in total: a week at the start of our trip and a week at the end. Very friendly staff and a helpful welcome complete with a beverage and a cool towel. Restaurant food is reasonably priced if one doesn't wish to head out. Pool is small but a great way to cool down in the afternoon, towels provided. Laundry at $1/kg, hand washed on site and returned the next day beautifully folded. Rooms were both clean and spacious, bathrooms clean with lots of space. Quiet location with hardly any noise disturbance. Staff are helpful with tour info and ideas for things to do as well as having a number of tuktuk drivers around who are happy to wait for you if you're running a quick errand or will return at the requested time otherwise. We really enjoyed our time there and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Great hotel
Stayed a few days. The hotel was perfect not far from the truest area but far enough to have a relaxing stay with there pool Highly recommended for anyone looking to go to seim reap.

Very accommodating staff, beautiful pool, great rooms. Only problem was lots of mosquitos come through the bathroom fan. We had to cover it with a towel and just leave the light off to stop them getting in.

Great hotel with wonderful service
The hotel was very close to most of the main tourist spots to visit. It had access to all modes of transportation and made it very convenient to travel. A must if you like a calm, serene place to come back to after a long day of sightseeing

Amazing!
We loved the bou savy! The staff were amazing, friendly and accomodating. The hotel itself was wonderful looked great! Felt great! Then rooms were perfect! Everything was clean and it had everything we needed and more, breakfast was delicious and the for the price i excepted about 10% of what we experienced. Would recommend bou savy to anyone.

Great convenient location. Flexible tuk-tuk service we used for temples and floating village tours with helpful driver as well as to airport. Helpful staff, good breakfast in pleasant surroundings with menu choices Asian & western. Quiet except for ongoing morning construction on building next door. Good laundry service & tour advice. In-house restaurant for food all day with variety on menu. Good airconditioning. Swimming pool looked very inviting. We felt at home here.

Nice guesthouse at 10 minute walk from the center
Bou Savy is exactly what you expect from a guesthouse: clean, well maintained, quiet enough and friendly and helpful staff. Swimming pool area is ideal to relax. Food is pretty basic, but no complains.

the only comlain is that there is a building site near the guesthouse, so some rooms are noisy. we upgraded the room which was so much better in every way. staff is nice and helpful, the food in the restaurant is excelent value for money and the location is very good.

Wonderful pool. Our stay included complimentary breakfast, which included both Western and Cambodian options, all delicious. The hotel staff will even give you a packed breakfast to take with you if you choose to watch the sunrise at Ankor Wat. Walkable distance to downtown/market area for us, though it is easy to catch a tut-tut. Guesthouse is tucked away in a small alley, which can make it a little challenging to find at first, but it is much quieter, and you don't hear the noise from the street. Staff were very friendly and welcoming - when you first arrive you are welcomed with a cold washcloth and welcome drink. We would stay here again.

A truly wonderful place!
I cannot say enough about this hotel. From the moment of our arrival until we left we felt welcomed. The hotel creates a special environment, a place of caring and comfort. The pool is perhaps the most beautiful little pool I have ever soon. We arrived and within 5 minutes we were given an banana shake. Our room was spacious and most comfortable. I just really liked this hotel.

Stayed here for three nights with two friends, we loved it from the moment we arrived and were treated excellent after a long bus journey! A lovely welcome from friendly staff, particularly mr leng who took us around the temples. Hotel can arrange lots of trips for you including temples but others available. Good food selection and all tasted good. Swimming pool was excellent after a hot day sight seeing! Ten minute walk to main part of town but easy to follow main roads.

Pros - Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms with a hot, powerful shower. Awesome pool for recovery after exploring & good breakfast. Quiet location, lots of food options nearby, 15min easy walk to pub street & markets or $2 tuk tuk & all drivers knew location. Cons - Wifi didn't work in rooms, thin doors so could here all noises from hallway.

I dislike when hotel websites say the room has 3 single beds and when you arrive there are 2. That is exactly what happened here. It is very dissapointing when this happens. We chose this place for that and they did not provide. The pool area fills up quick on warm days. Breakfast was good. Staff is helpful.

Relaxing spot with great service, food, and pool.
We stayed for 4 nights in a triple room. Pros - convenient location for airport, temples, and going to the market. Pool and terrace are cozy and private. Restaurant was superb (breakfast daily and we did one dinner there, would do again!). Beds very comfortable. Staff helped us book tours, packed us a take-away breakfast. Cons - bring your earplugs to block out the neighborhood rooster. Wifi was spotty in rooms. Water was hot in evenings but not in morning.

A great hotel to stay with friendly and helpful staff. the tuk tuks are a great way to travel as they are cheap. The pool was refreshing after a day out. If you don't feel like going far to eat the restaurant here has a good range of food. The rooms are spacious and clean.

Not a good start given they gave my confirmed booking for a superior room to another guest who wanted to stay for another night. But eventually sorted things out giving me a triple and one nights refund. Staff are very helpful and I like the homely feel of Bou Savy, though its more now a hotel than a guest house. Very relaxed and friendly and very popular.

Great little hotel in a quiet backstreet with a wonderful swimming pool. Perfect location for exploring Angkor Wat and beyond. Friendly staff including Sokhir, a tuk tuk driver who ferries us around the temples.

Amazing guest house at an amazing price!
Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Rooms are not opulent, but not tired-looking either - all were in good repair. A/C worked as expected. There were always staff around cleaning parts of the common areas of the hotel. Pool area was spotless and lush with vegetation - it was quite nice actually! Breakfast was excellent each day - fresh baked bread was still warm. Kitchen served delicious and very inexpensive food throughout the day. We were able to order food whenever we wanted and the bill after 5 days was not significant. Complimentary airport pickup was prompt. We used that tuk-tuk driver (Mr. Sina) for the 5 days we were there. The complimentary pickup is their way of pairing guests up with a single driver for the duration of the stay. You get to know one guy, and he is your personal chauffeur while you are there. In our case, Mr. Sina spoke good English and offered excellent advise on attractions that we should not miss. We were very well served by him. Finally, we found the staff to be very friendly and eager to help you in any way. As such, they made our stay most pleasant. I spoke several times with the owner - Bovuth - he was obviously committed to providing the best possible experience for all of his guests. We would most certainly stay again on a future visit, and would enthusiastically recommend it to anybody else.
