2 bedrooms plus a loft with a panoramic view of Lake Superior. 12 acres of privacy and surrounded by state land ensures complete privacy. Amazing views of the lake from any angle along with views of the hills behind the cabin. Access to the superior hiking trail from the private road and right in the middle of all that the North Shore has to offer:

High speed fiber Internet and WIFI - satellite TV so it can't be affected by the weather. The cabin is fully stocked with all needed kitchen supplies to ensure that your vacation has everything that you would need.

Winter rentals: Our driveway is plowed. Ideally you would have 4 wheel drive, but a heavier front wheel drive car would also work.

Superior View is right!
Our family of 5 loved this cabin! I can tell you without hesitation that it was teenager/young adult approved. The views were stunning no matter which direction you looked. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The communication with the owner was super easy. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Wonderful Place to Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was exactly as described, beds were comfy, and entire cabin was very clean. Great location too!! We didn’t want to leave the beautiful sunrises we enjoyed each morning. Do not hesitate to book this cabin if you want a great getaway overlooking beautiful Lake Superior!

The views, the sunrise
Set up above the big lake, this place delivers amazing and expansive views, and with that comes some unfortunate road noise as it’s perched above 61. The road is the lifeblood of the shore, necessary, convenient and noisy, it is what it is, but you can’t be beat the views - from practically every window - and the location is central to many North Shore activities and parks. Accommodations were nice, plenty big for the three of us. It was a great spot to spend a winter weekend. And we appreciated being able to bring our 4-legged friend.

Winter getaway
We loved this VRBO. It was perfect for us and we were so happy to have snow! The location was peaceful and Beautiful with plenty of room to walk the dog. I was looking forward to using the snowshoes provided but we didn’t end up doing that as we spent our days away exploring the state parks. The cabin is roomy and comfortable with a large dinning room table from which the big lake is visible. This is perhaps a bit odd but we tend to eat all meals at the VRBO’s and I truly appreciated the large number of plates and bowls available. We hope to return again.

Second time staying at Superior View. Was a lovely way to spend a week. Celebrated my birthday at Covepoint Lodge Restaurant for dinner. Weather was grey and cloudy but the house was warm and cheery for playing games, reading, and watching videos.

Wonderful stay along the North Shore
The cabin is in a perfect spot not only for a beautiful scenic overlook, but also a branching off point for all of our explorations of the North Shore. Grand Marais is less than an hour drive, Split Rock Lighthouse, only 20 minutes away and the countless beautiful state parks just minutes away! The family loved the layout of the cabin and the amenities that were offered. 5 out of 5 stars. Would stay again.

This is a comfortable and very private property with lovely views of Lake Superior. The deck was my favorite spot! The yard was really nice for the dog too. Great stay!
