Awesome getaway
Wonderful vacation spot with gorgeous views and a very comfortable homey atmosphere. Our host was very friendly and accommodating. This was the perfect setting for our yearly girls weekend. We will definitely consider returning in the future. Thank for a lovely stay.

A Silver Paradise
We had the upstairs apartment which is very roomy and has its own deck which is great for star gazing and listening to a cry from a far off Coyote. Loved it so much we didn’t want to leave

Very cozy!
Overall stay was awesome. Location was great and very serene. The space was great for our stay. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the caretaker being on site, but it was actually nice to have a friendly face near by if we needed anything. The coffee was great and thank you for having it available! Definitely will be booking again since I will be in Silver City more often.

Restful retreat with beautiful mountain views!
Azaima was an excellent hostess! Her property was secluded, quiet, well maintained and clean. She had everything I needed for rest and relaxation. The hot tub was a bonus and I really enjoyed the deck every morning and evening. There is a short hiking trail, a hammock, security gate with a code for entry, so you feel safe and private. The dogs are friendly and the atmosphere is warm. Location is only a couple of miles outside of town which is quite convenient. I stayed here end of May for the Blues Festival and slept like a rock with the windows open and the cool breezes from the fresh mountain air. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Restful Get-Away
Azaima's beautiful and restful retreat center was a highlight of our road trip through southern New Mexico. Immaculate, cheerful and restful, we enjoyed the hot tub, deck and very comfortable furnishings. She was a very good host, available and accomodating yet respectful of our privacy. It was a perfect stay!

Glad you had a peaceful stay in spite of the neighbor's dogs. Fortunately, noise cancellation machines and fans drown out the noise, if necessary.

Very nice rooms, spotless, owner very warm and helpful House is in a lovely area a few minutes from Silver City with easy access to town and a great stopover en route to Gila Wilderness. Surroundings are quite lovely and pictures are accurate

We stayed upstairs and enjoyed the views from the deck, the spaciousness of the apartment, the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness of the facility. I did not enjoy the on and off again barking from neighbor dogs through the night. If you have poor hearing, like my wife, you will have a wonderful stay.

We had entire second floor which had a deck, small kitchen, and great country views with lots of sun. We loved the extensive library and New Mexico vibe. The location was ideal for us about 3 miles outside Silver City so it was quiet but close to town and amenities. Helpful and knowledgeable host well!

This place is WONDERFUL! We loved it. Stunning views. Well maintained. Lovely space. Quiet, peaceful and close to town yet in the country. We will stay here again. Azaima is a fab hostess. This was the highlight of our 5 week trip. We extended so we could stay at this slice of heaven longer. Great place!!

Great as usual
This was the 4th time staying here, it was great as usual. Got to see some big sky stuff this time. The dogs were friendly and even had one as a guest for part of an evening. Looking forward to staying there in the future.

A lovely getaway - with a deer greeter
Very pleasant surroundings in the pines. Every time we drove in or out we saw a young doe either eating or resting; she was fairly tame and we got some nice photos of her. Spent a quiet hour in the hot tub Saturday afternoon; that was lovely with the birds and the peaceful breezes.

Truly Lovely
This little apartment is a real gem. The surrounding country is beautiful, and the apartment is lovingly decorated and cared for in true New Mexico style. It is very quiet there, and yet you are just minutes away from Silver City.

A Silver City Jewel
A wonderful experience. The accommodations were excellent. Azaima was very personable and had a reference manual with dining and excursion suggestions. The upstairs patio was a tranquil place to enjoy the night sky and relax after exploring the countryside during the day. We loved shopping and dining in Si.ver City. We definitely hope to return soon as we have additional adventures to enjoy. You will not be sorry if you stay here.

We stayed at the Heart and Wings Retreat for four nights in April 2021 while visiting Silver City. We were in the second story suite. The suite was very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchenette. Views from the deck are very nice in the evening. and the hot tub is great after a day of hiking. Highly recommended!

Nice accommodations, but to hot.
Enjoyed stay. Only reason 4 stars given for overall rating was because the rooms were overly hot. The swamp coolers did not have ANY water flowing thru them and it took until midnight to cool down.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in spite of the heat. Your review prompted me to place swamp cooler directions in the rooms that have them. The water did indeed work in the swamp coolers. I'm sorry for your discomfort, and hope that future guests will be able to operate them more effectively with proper instruction. In these hot days, it's important to keep the swamp coolers on all day to keep the rooms comfortable.
