"If you are in Silverton for any reason, this is the place to stay. Matt was an exceptional host - welcoming, enjoyed talking about the area both present and historical, and makes a masterful breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable with old time charm and furnishings. Common areas to catch up or read a good book."
"If you want an easy walk to every placebin Silverton, this hotel is your jam. Very friendly staff, clean common areas and impeccably-made rooms, nice coffee and tea bar. Only drawbacks: thin walls and old heating that is hard to dial in to a specific temperature. But those are solvable problems (ear plugs, layers) and the experience of staying at the hotel is worth it!"

"So lucky to have come across this place! Had a enjoyable and terrific stay. Exceeded my expectations and was very decent value for the area! Staff... Awesome! Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Except for a little rise between the bathroom/bedroom where you can hurt your toes! Loved the outdoor fire gathering with s'mores and blankets. That was so nice!
Totally recommend too stay here!"
"We loved how friendly the staff was. They kept doing extra things for us like giving my kids stuffed animals when we checked in and a bottle of water when we checked out. We found the dining options in the village were fairly expensive for a family and it was much cheaper to take the gondolas to Telluride and eat there. "
