"This was such a wonderful place to stay. The location was awesome, and the lake access was to die for. The only little hiccup we had was not being notified prior to arrival to turn off the bear deterring door mats, but needless to say we figured that out pretty quickly once we arrived:) everything else was perfect! Did the Eagle Lake hike at Emerald Bay, took a bracing cold autumn swim in the lake at Obexer’s, had nice meals at Za’s in Tahoe City, & Sunnybrook—both overlooking the lake. "Wish I could leave more stars because the house is in a great location, but unfortunately the property is poorly managed. There was no toilet paper anywhere, not even tucked in a drawer or cabinet. The only roll of paper towels was almost gone and there weren't extra trash bags. "Our stay was wonderful and Just what our family needed. Beautiful main room with big windows looking out into the forest. Hot tub on the main deck was ideal! Bed's were comfortable and plenty of towels for showering and hot tubbing. The community was quiet and so are we so that was a perfect, peaceful match for our family.
