Great little hotel with friendly staff. Not in the best part of town but very convenient with lots of parking and a nice pub bar and restaurant. Walkable into town and next to Pen Mill Station

All staff very welcoming and nice, the pub below had really nice food and drink, room very cozy, I have no complaints as it was perfect, they were very accommodating, the hotel was beautiful and very romantic, we would definitely stay there again

An absolute gem of a hotel!
What a little gem of a find! This hotel is simply fantastic, the rooms are lovely, exceptionally clean and very, very comfortable! The added bonus was the pub which had the most amazing home cooked food, no microwave magic going on in this kitchen! Price of the food was too low when compared to other pubs but the quality was right at the top of the scale! To round off the whole experience the staff were amazing, very happy and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble for them. They really wanted to give you the best service and experience they could, obviously this culture comes down from the owners, who need to be commended for everything that they're doing at the Pen Mill! Would HIGHLY recommend staying here, I know I will be coming back again.

We had a lovely stay, room was okay the bed was quite comfortable and clean. Only one downside was we couldn’t have the windows open at night as there was a flat roof and we were worried Louis could jump out, we did used the fan supplied but it was quite noisy. The breakfast was very tasty with a nice selection to choose from. Overall the food was amazing, large portions, very tasty and good value for money, we ate at the hotel every evening as we thought we wouldn’t get better anywhere else. Louis our dog enjoyed his stay, he was very welcomed and looked after with treats and a bowl of water if needed. Louis met George the resident Lab who was very friendly. All the staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble and all of the staff were very friendly If we ever come back to Somerset we will definitely stay here again, thoroughly recommend!

A great stay
This is probably one of the best hotel experiences I've had and I stay away a lot with work. From first arrival to the lady who did the cleaning to ask if I'd enjoyed my stay as I was leaving, the service and friendliness of the staff was amazing. The restaurant food was excellent, as was the breakfast, particularly the presentation. The room was really clean and comfortable. All in all an excellent

Great Food & Clean Rooms
Great place to stay, the rooms are really clean and have nice touches like free biscuits and a Nespresso coffee machine. Really clean bathrooms and great linen provided. Food is fantastic and the breakfast is really tasty and all local produce from within 50 miles. Sam who took the orders was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will stay again when in the area, great value for money.

This is our 3rd stay at Penn Mill & definitely wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when visiting Yeovil. Everything is fantastic from the friendly staff the amazing food and rooms. I would and have recommended to family & friends!

Couldn’t be more helpful. Very friendly staff. Lovely clean bright room with comfy beds. Breakfast was outstanding. Great daytime/evening menu. My sister and I stayed a Friday and Saturday night while visiting family. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant Staff
Fantastic place to stay, already booked for August. The staff are brilliant, really friendly and make sure you are looked after. The food is really good in a great setting inside, breakfast is fantastic, all local produce. Rooms are really clean and have a Nespresso machine and free bottled water. Great car park with big spaces.

A very good stay. Staff particularly good. With both bar, restaurant and check-in staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and extras like the Nespresso machine and fan were appreciated. Well soundproofed considering the venue from pub below, but car park and patrons at closing time were very noisy and disturbed sleep through windows. A particularly noisy main road with lots of “boy racers” and queuing traffic at peak times took the shine off location wise. Breakfast amazing, with an excellent cooked option that was one of the best ever had. Would stay again.

Really helpful on booking as we'd just left a very poor other hotel in Yeovil and were looking for somewhere on short nitice that was not horrible. The hotel and room were just as described and everything was high quality and delivered in a friendly way.
