so the property was nice. the restaurant’s food was not good at all. the buffet food was good but the ladies had a nasty attitude and not welcoming. some of the staff were nice and some were very rude. the toilet barely flushed and the light in the room at night was not good. however i liked the place it was really nice and peaceful.

The RIU Paradise was a nice place with extremely nice staff (except for 1 manager!). We stayed 5 nights which was just the right amount of time to do 2 excursions and have ample time to relax. The dining reservations are very inconvenient - they don’t permit restaurant reservations the first two days and then you need to be logged into an app at midnight to ensure you will get one because they fill up quickly. I had the best ribeye steak at the steakhouse. All communication with the hotel is done through the app - which was not always working. And in order to get onto their WiFi you are required to enter Personal Identity Information. There were 4 liquor choices in the room and they are not willing to change them out and they only stock a local light beer in the room again our requests for alternatives were refused. We were told that we could go to the bar and have them fill glasses to bring to our room. Overall a nice vacation but may not go back to that resort.

We had the best weekend at the grand Hyatt Bahamar. The grounds are beautiful, there are always chairs available at the many pools, the water park is a blast with very short lines, and the staff is absolutely excellent!! The restaurants were also great although super expensive. If you’re looking for nightlife, the sky bar at the SLS is a ton of fun.

The property was directly located by the beach and was a fabulous choice for our stay. The restaurant within the hotel were expensive and the service was very slow. They all had waiting lists to get into so the restaurants were not convenient regardless of the price. We sat in a cocktail lounge for 30 minutes and no one approached our table. I finally had to ask for help to send someone to our table. But the food was very good along with the drinks, just the service was very slow.

They have the most wonderful and friendly staff. The property is absolutely beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. I gave four stars because on our last day the showers stopped working. When they did work, the water was brown. We finally were able to shower at 9pm, but it was a bummer after swimming at the beach and not being able to clean off. Other than that this resort is astonishing.
