B&B in nice quiet street with free parking. Excellent bus/train connection to London Victoria, total travel time approx. 45 min. The owner of the B&B is very helpful. The only item that could be improved: Breakfast variety was small. Nevertheless, we can strongly recommand this B&B.

The property was cosy and like 'home from home'. We had a lovely big room with an ensuite, which had a lovely powerful shower. The room was warm and inviting and tea/coffee making facilities were provided. Also provided was 2 bottles of water and biscuits which was a lovely addition. A hairdryer was provided and extra pillows if needed. The bed was so comfortable with the softest pillows, that i didn't want to get out of bed! Plenty of parking available with 2 spaces provided in the hotel grounds and free parking available on the street outside. The cold breakfast consisted of a choice of cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Matt and Bev were lovely hosts and were so welcoming. This place is truly a gem and i would advise anyone to stay here and you will not be disappointed!!

Excellent place to stay. My main question is would i Take my wife…… Absolutely . Host was attentive, lovely area, town 12 mins walking with lots of choices of ‘world food’. Looking forward to going back!!

This well maintained and comfortable home is a nice change from a chain hotel room. The transportation to and from East Croydon station was fairly convenient but did need a little extra time to get into the city. Matt who was the host was exceptionally helpful, kind and personable. They were gracious to allow us to check in early which is a huge blessing after an international trip. The hot cooked breakfast, to order, was an amazing treat and fun to get local perspective on history and culture. I have already recommended this B&B to others.

If you want a to get away from the hustle and bustle of London for a close, quiet retreat, this is the place to stay. We would definitely return. Beverly and Matt were excellent hosts and able to give directions and suggestions for sights and getting around. Close to the tram and and trains, and a nice cafe.

One of the best places that I have stayed in - cannot say much more than that. Fabulous from start to finish! Close to Station and facilities and located in a lovely residential area. A big and comfy bed and modern facilities including large screen TV

A beautiful property. Our room was large and really lovely. The hosts were very helpful, especially with providing advice for transport. Parking was easy. If you don’t want the hot cooked breakfast, the cold breakfast options are a bit limited compared to other B&Bs.

Quaint Stay with Quick Access to Central London
This is the first, and definitely won’t be the last Bed and Breakfast experience I have had. Matt and his wife are extremely delightful and assisted my wife and I with everything that we needed. Meeting Matt and staying at his home was a highlight of our trip. First off, the neighborhood is extremely quaint, and walking distance to a ton of food options. Not only that, the neighborhood felt extremely safe, and was very quiet. As for getting there from London, it was extremely easily, and a great hub for exploring other parts of London. Before arriving, ask Matt how to best get there from where you are coming and he will have you perfectly on your way. Outside of all of the nearby food options, just a short Tramlink or Uber ride away are tons of shopping options in East Croydon, and a diverse cultural scene in Brixton. As for the space, and amenities, we loved our view of the backyard and garden. The massive window let in ample light and made the room feel generously spacious. More than that, since there are only four guest rooms, you can easily demand Matt’s attention and not worry about being around a ton of people. But it was amazing to meet everyone (some at least) in the morning during breakfast. Speaking of, I enjoyed the breakfast setup they had. Every night around 9:00pm, you fill out your menu for the following morning - giggling the time you want to eat between 7:00am and 8:45am, while also choosing your entree. It was magnificent.

Clean and spacious BUT no AC (very hot - not their typical weather) but they did give us a fan!! Great breakfast and service! EXTREMELY HELPFUL with detailed directions, maps, public transportation info & suggestions which enhanced our daily travels and schedules. Restaurant recommendations were excellent! Overall, Matt & Bev made our stay memorable!

Bill & Bev are the owners and are two kindness people we met while visiting London. Not only did they cook delicious breakfasts and handled our hotel accomodations, they took the time to converse and get to know us. They are lovely people and we plan to re visit their bed and breakfast. Their location is on the outskirts of London (around 30 mins from their place to the center is the city), so we rode all of the different forms of public transportation. Because we commuted with the locals, the experience was more like living there in contrast to visiting.

Central enough to explore the city if needed. Don't miss the Parkrun in Lloyds Park (200 yds) if that is your thing. We couldn't have had a friendlier and nicer experience than Croham Park B&B.

Our room was lovely and made a real difference to our stay in Croydon. In a safe, leafy area with great transport links. Bev and Matt were great hosts, very friendly and made a great breakfast! All in all first class and we would definitely stay there again.

i have stayed at this fab B&B on two occasions and have not been let down, matt and Bev are very good hosts,both friendly and very helpful,on both my visits i only stayed for the one night,stayed in different rooms but not dissapointed,the rooms are of a good size with views of the garden,spotlessly clean wu]ith good facilities including a very good walk in shower,tea and coffee with biscuits,2 bottles of water,toileteries,all in all a great place to stay and hopefully i will have many more stays here.

The Best of the Best!
Right from check-in Matt was so helpful, explaining everything about public transportation to recommending local places to eat. Bev is a great cook and is just as pleasant and helpful as Matt. They have created a perfect model for B&B everywhere. Every detail was thought of. He even had a luggage weigher for us to use. The room was equipped with an international power plug for laptops, phone charging, etc. You got to choose your breakfast from a menu and were able to order smaller portions and/or eliminate items. The tram a few blocks away will get you to the station and to London in about 40 minutes. Within walking distance (1 mile +/-) you will find a lovely village with almost any type of food you are interested in eating as well as many local pubs. The people in this area are so nice. Where ever we went we were treated like family (family that likes you of course lol). Hopefully one day we will return for another stay. We saw Buckingham Palace (changing of the guard), The British Museum, The Cartoon Museum, The Natural Science Museum, The Imperial War Museum. Sadly we didn't have time to get to the National Gallery. We also watched the World Cup semi finals at a local pub, which was one of the funnest times I've had in a while. It's true the British do LOVE their football!! Now so do I! Overall this B&B is elegant without being pretentious and I believe it's because of Matt & Bev and how they just make you feel at home here in Croydon.
