Nicest place ever!
This has been our nicest stay ever! Many other places the pictures look great but when you show up it's not so nice. This place is as good as it gets! What you see in the photos is what you get. Fabulous place well laid out and extremely clean and updated. Many things to do inside and out. Very dog friendly! Very nice Hot tub! Pretty private as well. Even have some wildlife visit the yard. Hosts we great and accommodating as well. One day of rain kept us stuck inside playing games and watching movies. But it was very cozy with the in floor heat! Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer!

Late season getaway
What a wonderful location and home. My wife and I were looking to get away from the city with our two pups and found this great location on VRBO. Of all the locations on the lake, this has a larger yard which the pups enjoyed so much. It also had an outdoor hot tub and heated tile floors. This was in addition to all of the beautiful updates, modern kitchen, updated, bathroom, and more. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to coming back soon.

Lovely Home
Very nice updated home. Super clean. We enjoyed using the canoe, kayaks and the lilly pad and there were life jackets to fit everyone. Our grandkids enjoyed swimming next to the dock. Very good communication with the host.

We spent 5 days at The Landing Spot and it was amazing! Scott was very helpful and responsive. We had everything we could've needed. The property was very clean, cozy and comfortable. Stunning!
Gorgeous house and lake. Cute little town. Had a great pizza from Jimmy's and great meal at the Thayer Hotel. Love Annandale and make a point to visit every year. So glad I found this house, we've stayed there before and are already booked for next summer. Looking forward to it.

Perfect Lake Getaway!
We had a great time! We had 4 adults, a 7 year old, a 2 year old and 2 dogs. The space worked out great for our group. The house was clean. You can tell the poperty ower has experience and enjoys hosting. The house had everything we needed for cooking. The house was way more stocked with eveything than any other place we have stayed. The lake was awesome! The lake was clean and had several spots to get out of the wind for calm fishing and swimming and plenty of space to get away from other boats. The lake never got too busy with boats. The dock is in a nice spot blocked from the wind, making for a super easy in and out of the boat lift. We caught tons of sunnies and bass. The sunnies were also super plump and pretty! (We threw them all back for others to enjoy as well) We enjoyed the hot tub and the firepit as well. We would definitely stay there again. THANK YOU!

Family Time at the Lake
This house was awesome, cleaniness of this house was a 10 out of 10. It had everything you would need for your stay. It was the first time in the last 4 years we were able to get our family all together for one the most fun and relaxing times we have had as a family. The instruction book Scott had available at the house had everything you needed to know for your stay was extremely helpful. Scott was awesome to work with and provided us with great information for our stay. Our family had a lot of fun, laughs, and memories we will have for ever. Great place we would highly recommend staying here.

Fun long weekend!
Five Stars! Scott was great to work with! The cabin was impeccably, kept and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Super clean, and a nice book with instructions on everything. Very relaxing stay. We loved the hammock and the water crafts- it was fun to have the hot tub! Enjoy the fire pit and playing beanbags… Grilling, lounging, visiting. All good! Very comfortable beds as well. Highly recommend! The meat shop in town was excellent hard to make a choice!

Best Lake Home
The Landing Spot is our favorite lake home. It’s clean, organized and well equipped with everything our family needs. The beds are extremely comfortable and the washer/dryers make it so easy for us stay on top of things while on vacation! The owner has made many upgrades since our last visit that we enjoyed and appreciated during our stay. The level of care and attention given to every last detail is remarkable. The kids love the tradition of firewood and s’mores that awaited us! Also, the lake was so clear. We were very lucky to have great weather. The worst part was having to leave…. Already planning our trip back. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time staying at the landing spot. The hot tub was relaxing, ice fishing was fun, saw lots of deer. Went snow shoeing. Visited a local pub. We had a Fantastic weekend and definetly recommend staying there.

Family friendly and very relaxing!
Our family of five plus our dog stayed for a few nights. The house was comfortable and has a great sleep arrangement for us and the kids. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked for what we needed. The house is beautiful and the property too. We played games and did puzzles. We even skied at Powder Ridge in New Year’s Eve. It was a great getaway!

Great Weekend on the Lake
We had great weather for mid October and really enjoyed being on the lake. The whole family loved the property and it was perfect for us. We had fun exploring Annandale as well. We hope to be back sometime, maybe in the summer!

Beautiful lake, comfortable modern house
I'd seen pictures of the house online, but they didn't do justice to this house that I am sad to say, is much nicer than my own. The lake is ideal for boating. We enjoyed using the kayaks; it was a great way to explore the lake and see the other houses. There are cute shops and restaurants in town. We had a delicious meal at the Thayer Hotel, and scrumptious ice cream at an ice cream shop a short walk from the hotel. We had such a wonderful time, we hated to leave.

There was a family wedding across the bay. We actually took the boat to the wedding. It was a perfect place to stay. Comfortable, nice, well stocked and a great place to entertain. Great property for our family of four. Cabin can accommodate more. Cabin was well equipped. We all enjoyed renting the pontoon, exploring the lake, fishing, kayaking, sitting by the fire pit, and just relaxing. The property manager, Scott, was great and was always prompt to respond to any of our questions.

Our family had the greatest time at this lake house and the beautiful Lake Sylvia. The house is very clean/updated, and has everything you will need to enjoy your stay. This is the cleanest lake property we have ever rented. Even though it was the off season and we couldn't enjoy the lake, the kids loved the hot tub, game room, games and puzzles, fire pit, and TV setup. Clean house with everything you would expect at your own home.
Working during spring break is what brought out family to The Landing Spot. Our stay was great. The house and property were spacious and very well kept. We enjoyed the games, fire pit and hot tub. Also, the beds were super comfortable! If I ever come to the area again, I will definitely look forward to staying here again. The host was also great and communicated very well.
