Great Little Cabin!
This was a great little cabin and the owner was easy to contact with any questions. The neighborhood is adorable, quiet, and close to gas stations and a great pizza place. The interior of the cabin is adorable, we didn't use the fire pit or the wood-burning stove, but there was firewood available. We had a great stay but any more than two people may be a little cramped.

Loved this cute and cozy cabin!
This cabin was just perfect for a short getaway. Very relaxing, comfortable and quiet. Had everything I needed in the kitchen to make some meals. Brought along roasting forks and a pie iron and I enjoyed s’mores and pizza pies over the campfire one night. Hosts were very responsive to any questions I had. Nice chairs and a picnic table in the backyard made spending time around the campfire very relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Cute Cabin, but extra charges that were not accurate and cold.
The pictures matched and the size and layout of the cabin were perfect. It's definitely not a kid friendly cabin though, and I wouldn't recommend young kids here with all the glasses and dishes down low. I was also charged an extra $30 for unwashed dishes, and I made sure I clean everything I used before we left. Will not be staying here again.

The cabin was adorable and cozy. Quite comfortable. Quiet, comfy bed. Able to cook some meals but close enough to grab a bite at local eateries. Hope to stay here again in the future.

Best vacation ever
Wonderful property- adorable cabin and it felt like we were in the woods with the trees surrounding the fire pit in the backyard. It’s just a few streets from the main road but it felt so private. The local lakes were all we hoped for and more. Everything was so convenient and close. We didn’t realize we came in the middle of the ORV Jam weekend but it inspired us to try renting a side by side ourselves for an afternoon, which Chris at St Helen Motorsports made so easy. We kayaked, swam and biked, all within 45 minutes of the cabin. I’ve never spent time in this part of the state, but I will definitely be back, and I hope this cabin will be available when I do. Ten stars.

Best place to stay!
Beautiful cabin everything we wanted and MORE, peaceful, quiet and way more than we expected. Next trip will be spent here if you fish it is PERFECT very close to 2 lakes I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our stay! Already planning our next trip to stay here! Pictures do not do this cabin justice. If you want to get away from it all this is the place for you!

Thank you Chris and Kelly for the wonderful place to stay! Nice and clean, affordable cabin. The only negative thing was the shower (kind of small). The cabin was comfortable and cozy. Great hosts! They were so quick to respond to any questions!

Perfect central location
Quaintly decorated, spotless cabin with running city water and plumbing. In town, but small wooded lot and great firepit that is private. Used the site as home base while visiting area lakes and family. Very comfortable bedding, Franklin stove, full sized kitchen appliances.

I was impressed with how clean the cabin was and smelled nice. The beds were very comfortable!! The Ac worked very well. It was very well equipped with utencils and dishes also cookware . The location was nice for close restaurants and groceries gas etc. Lots of trails to ride and Lake St. Helen was beautiful and good fishing! Any questions for the owner you had responded in a very reasonable time!!

Really enjoyed the cabin!
My husband and son really enjoyed the cabin. Was way better than camping yet had what they needed for a camp fire and to be outdoors not in a hotel. Loved the decor. He was surprised that it was in a neighborhood, can't tell by the pics. Expected it to be in the woods. But they loved it regardless.

Cabin was great
We attended the Jeep Creep in Gladwin and needed a place to stay. This cabin fit the bill, it was very nice, clean, and my wife loved the decorating. The cabin wasn't too far away from the event. I would defenitly stay here again. Thanks!

This was a quaint cottage in a nice quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature. The cleanliness was okay but could've been better and it was a little crowded, not much room for luggage. The TV and dvd player worked great and got basic channels. The oven was old and when we tried to use it our food didn't even get warmed up, let alone baked, and only half of the stove top burners worked. The microwave was low power and the turntable barely worked. The fridge was fine. Overall needs some updating and less decor/stuff in it. We enjoyed our stay but felt the price was a little high for what it was, we were a little disappointed because of the reasons listed.

Cute little cabin!
We were in town for a family reunion and this cabin met our needs perfectly. It's tucked back off the street so you feel like you're in the woods, but still very close to town. The owners were very easy to work with. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Sister"s Reunion
This was a lovely little cabin for our sister's reunion. We had a good time. There were three of us and there was plenty of room. The cabin was clean and tidy. There was no formal table for meals. The kitchen island had two bar stools so I guess this was the table but we couldn't all sit down for a meal. That was a little inconvenient. The pots and pans were a little iffy. The beds were comfortable but there were only flannel sheets and in the summer it tended to be a little warm. The air conditioner worked well and cooled the whole cabin down. The shower was a tad bit small but worked well. All in all it was a great little cabin in the woods of St. Helen. We enjoyed ourselves and would come again if in the area.

Awesome little cabin
Awesome little cabin. My only issues were no w/d to do the laundry (towels and bed clothes) and that the grass was long and mosquitos were bad. Other than that very cute cabin, tucked back off the road just enough for privacy!! Will stay again!!

Thank you for your review. I too wish we had a washer and dryer in the little cabin, but there just is not any room. Sorry for the inconvenience. After reading your review I contacted the landscaping company and they did share they were behind on cutting the lawn and it is taken care of now. Thank you for letting me know so we can address any problems. We are glad you will stay again and promise the lawn/mosquitos will be taken care of next time.

Perfect!
The cabin was perfect! It was super close to the campground where our family was staying and also close to the trails! We loved the air-conditioner... that saved us for sure as it was very HOT on the days we stayed. The cabin is decorated cute, clean, and everything you need is there. The yard is private and Archie and his wife across the street were super nice and helpful! I'm not going to say anything else because if I do the cabin is going to be booked when I need it next time! Haha! Thank You!

Great stay in a cozy cabin
Very smooth transaction and check-in/check-out. Cabin was comfortable and perfectly suited our needs as a 'base of operation' for daily excursions. Not a lot in St. Helen, but it is a short drive to many places to eat, explore, and get out on the water. ORV trails nearby, too. Quiet neighborhood, lots of amenities in the house, and just the right size for two of us. Thanks, Chris!

Very clean and great location close to trails
We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was tidy and had everything we needed. We brought our ORVs and the trails are just around the corner....very nice to be able to ride right to them. The backyard is great, love the natural setting, and even though there are neighbors it is fairly private. The cabin is small and the owners have done a great job of making use of the space. The double bed is pretty soft and my husband and I had some kinks in the mornings. Also, the shower is tiny, so if you are a bigger person it might be tricky. The trails are great and St. Helen is a nice enough little town, we didn't spend much time at the lake but it was pretty. We would stay again!

Quiet Getaway
The cabin was in the perfect location for the ORV trails. I myself loved how clean everything was. Had everything you needed for cooking, bathing etc. considering there was homes on the road it was very quiet. Plenty of room and comfortable furniture to relax and watch tv or what ever you enjoy doing. Had the feeling of home. MUCH better than staying in a hotel or motel. A+++++

We enjoyed our stay for our 15 year anniversary weekend
The property was secluded because it sat back off the road and was surrounded by trees. The neighbors are pretty close but we never really saw anyone. Heard some dogs barking and fireworks but that was about it. The location is close to a lot of lakes and other towns. We brought our kayaks and headed to Clear lake, it is beautiful there! We ate dinner in town the first night but ended up in Grayling for dinner the second. The bed is not so comfortable and I'm feeling the pain today, but everyone has their own choice of bed. The owners make a great use of the space they have. We really enjoyed our stay!
