Excellent hotel and - beach access not so goodPosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Staff excellent - Rooms clean and comfortable -
Cons: Entertainment was lacking. Karaoke or a talent show is not what I expected for a show after dinner.
Location: Do the Joe Knows tour - Also if you Dive take advantage of this, I would call this pampered Diving - so nice Catamaran sunset tour - fair
We attended a wedding 6 night stay. Hotel, Food and Staff all excellent. I am a diver and they again did an excellent job in this area. Only two areas that were a bit disappointing. Every morning in order to get a chair by the pool one of our parties had to be up early 6 -6:30 to reserve a chair - unless you have butler service $$$$. That was a stress I did not need. Chairs on the beach not so good and the beach itself fair compared to other places of the same cost. The nightly entertainment or activity was again only fair - usually geared to a much younger just married crowd. One other item - we tried to get concierge service at time of booking not available. Fortunately one other couple in our party had it and this helped when making dinner reservations. No bad food experience anywhere - all very good!!!!

1 Year Wedding AnniversaryPosted May 20, 2014
Pros: accommodations and food.
Cons: The time the room was cleaned.
Location: This hotel is very isolated but who wants noise when on vacation? Beautiful beach. Private and romantic. The service was impeccable.
My husband and I had a magnificent time at Sandals. We would definitely return. The restaurants were awesome, entertainment was fun. The one major turn off was that the rooms were not cleaned until after 3pm. We went on excursions and had to wait for the room to be cleaned. Very disappointing. Overall Sandals is exceptional.

Not the best Sandals experiencePosted May 19, 2014
Pros: the food
Cons: the friendliness of the staff, the amount of pool chairs
I've been to Sandals in Jamaica and I thought this hotel to be a bit of a let down. The food was amazing, especially the Italian, but I thought the beach was not the best. The overcrowded pool was always a hassle to get a chair or a drink by the bar and I thought the service was not up to par. The staff feigned their friendliness at times and the spa was mediocre at best. It was still a lovely stay, but not the high quality I expected of Sandals.

Perfect Honeymoon!!Posted May 18, 2014
Location: Definitely go on the Joe Knows Tour and the Treetop Ziplining. These excusrsions were sooooo much fun!
I just came back from my week long stay in St. Lucia for my honeymoon. The island is so beautiful and the weather was amazing. The resort is so nice. There were several restaurants to choose from (my favorites were Armando's and La Toc). There was entertainment almost every night. My favorite things to do at the resort were to just sit at the main pool and hang out at the pool bar. We met so many nice people. I also really enjoyed going to the Cricketer at night for drinks and late night snacks. Our favorite bartender was Oswald. He was so friendly! He always greeted us with a hug when we came in and took great care of us. He was definitely our favorite person who worked at the resort. The only downfall I saw at the resort were that some of the staff just weren't very friendly. We ate at Neptunes and the pizza place next door a few times for lunch and they constantly forgot to bring us either our food or our drinks. Also we went to the Cricketer one night around 12:30 for some late night drinks and snacks. This was the one night Oswald was off so the service was awful. Nobody ever came to our table to help us and we were the only people in the place. There were four workers just sitting there looking at us. Eventually we had to go up to the bar and ask them if we could get some food. After we placed our order it took about 45 minutes for us to get our food. Besides this I would say this place is fantastic! I will definitely be back to another Sandals.

sandals la tocPosted Apr 30, 2014
Pros: The pool and pool bar was excellent
Cons: Weddings should be in a separate area for their privacy and our convenience. The photo shoot should not close areas of the hotel we paid to visit
Location: Joe knows is a must!
The hotel and staff was excellent, however there was a photo shoot which we had no knowledge of and it closed the beach one day and the pool another day for several hours, we did go to another Sandals resort but felt rather put out while on vacation. There were many weddings which also closed restaurants to guests, at one time we had to walk through a wedding party to get to our room. The food and cocktails were excellent. Our overall experience was very good but would research a Sandals resort more thoroughly before booking next time.

Would definitely go back.Posted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: I love the cats and the different areas of relaxation
Cons: I think the rooms need brighter lighting and there should be a US type electrical outlet in the bathrooms.
Location: The Joe Knows tour was incredible. Our tour guide BK was fantastic.
The resort is breathtaking and the service is remarkable.

Spectacular view!Posted Apr 9, 2014
Our stay was great & we will be back! I only have 2 complaints, really suggestions, that caused me not to give 5 stars to "room comfort". First you need better pillow top mattresses like you find in other 5 star hotels & I really feel if you are going to offer room service to some you should offer it to everyone! I felt slighted when one evening I wanted something sweet, called room service and was told that only the millionaire suites have that. Felt like class discrimination!
