I did not like this resort for many reasons, but the two things that are fair to point out are: 1) There isn’t really a beach. The water is runoff from hills above it so it’s brown. Lots of seaweed that stinks, which is particularly gross when you’re sitting at the restaurant deck and the breeze is coming off the water. 2) one morning, the men’s pool bathroom had vomit in it. And also found vomit on the stairs leading up to the infinity pool. On the bright side, the staff is wonderful, very pleasant and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay at margaritaville!! Golf carts were always just a quick call away! Coki beach was nice!! Only downside of our hotel was all the sargassum at our beach but everything else was on point!

OMG.....
This honeymoon for me ended up turning into a mosquito and seaweed contest. My wife and I was biting roughly about 20-30 a piece. The mosquito keep making their way in our room. The balcony doors was locked with towels around the bottom and the front door as well. It was so bad we had to send nights at a different resort with family because the this resort would not allow us the change rooms because it was booked through VRBO.... And the seaweed smell on the resort was sooooooooooo bad my wife throw up several times. It was coming in out room through the AC. This was the worst experience I ever had. Now my wife and I have to book another honeymoon all because of this. It was several people on the resort that complained about the something so much that the resort was very empty smh...

Own beach and two pools was nice. On site restaurant has bland and uninspired food and completely overpriced with bad service due to built in tip. Room as described with a few extra home amenities. Felt very secure with maned entry gate checking arrivals in every time. Had own car so no comment on the taxis. Easy check in and check out. Looked and felt well kept up considering the other places we saw. Great A/C and hot water and cold fridge. Fabrics and linens were clean. Would come back and will look for same resort in other locations based off this experience. They had several adventures depart from their dock and had purchasable actives to do on their beach. 7-10 minute drive to ferry and red hook area with lots of good food.

Our room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort is extremely well maintained. The resort has some very steep hills, but they provide a golf cart service. The only negative in my opinion is the Margaritaville restaurant. The service was just fine, but the food was overpriced (Cheeseburger meal was $24). If the resort had more food options it would be perfect.
