Welcome to the Gorgeous Suite! Our property is nestled on 7 forested acres with panoramic views of the Columbia River and surrounding Cascade mountains. Skamania Lodge, Bridge of the Gods, Cascade Locks, Mt. Hood, Dog Mountain, White Salmon, Hood River and Portland are just a few close destinations. The entire garden level of our home is your spacious, comfortable suite where you can escape, relax and unwind in this beautiful setting.

Your private entrance welcomes you to a warm and inviting 1000 sq. ft. suite. Features include a king size bed, an adjoining living room with river rock fireplace, coffee bar, refrigerator, microwave, TV, complimentary WiFi, a wide selection of books, games, and movies. The unparalleled views extend out to your private patio surrounded by lush and vast gardens.

Within a few miles, you will find golf courses, brew pubs, restaurants, farmer's markets, shops, waterfalls, wineries, kite boarding, wind surfing, sailing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and numerous other recreational adventures. Portland and its airport is a easy 45 minute drive. Great spot in the gorge!
Libby was very helpful and available for questions. Easy 5-10min drive into Stevenson, where there is a small grocery and some good bites to eat. Wonderful view from the back patio. Space was comfortable, with everytjing we needed for our weekend stay!

A Zen-like oasis
I wasn't supposed to be here alone, but sometimes life doesn't honor the best-laid plans. In the end, being here, even alone, was just what I needed. The majestic views, the cozy patio surrounded by beautiful flowers and gardens, and the peace and quiet, punctuated only occasionally by the delightfully raucous journey of a train, brought me a sense of peace amid a period of personal turmoil. Libby greeted me upon arrival, and made sure I had what I needed. She and Craig are great hosts. The inside was cozy enough, especially the bed and those cloud-like pillows, but I spent most of my waking moments, when I wasn't hiking, outside on that beautiful patio. I'll be back for sure!

Fabulous Spot
The hosts for this studio are 5plus stars!!!!! and the suite is perfect for two. Communication was speedy, gracious and detailed. Libby could not have been more welcoming and willing to do anything to make our stay relaxing and so enjoyable. The suite is lovely: spotless and very nicely furnished. The king bed is comfortable and the flower-filled patio with gorgeous views of the river had furniture that made it so wonderful for morning coffee, evening wine (with hummingbirds & deer for company!) and enjoying the stars at night...we loved spending time there! On arrival Libby and Craig had a thoughtful gift basket and cold water and oj in the frig and plenty of great coffee. It was very hot during our stay--Libby and Craig left a cooler for our use in case we were going to explore the river and trails close by. All in all, a great stay and tremendous hosts.

We LOVED our stay here. The suite is perfect, and the shower is fantastic. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the silence and beauty of the area, and it has easy access to both Stevenson and Cascade Falls for restaurants and groceries. The hosts are friendly and gracious without being intrusive, and we never felt awkward about being in part of their home. If we lived closer, we would definitely be back!

Beautiful home and location, especially if you are looking for an out of town place to stay. Private entrance, place was really clean, bed was super comfy. Awesome view of backyard and mountains. Lots of beautiful areas to hike, wineries to visit, and delicious restaurants all within 30 min or less. Only downside was walking down the grassy/muddy hill in the rain with rolling suitcases to get to the entrance and being asked to keep shoes outside — sidewalk/path would be nice!

Craig and Libby were both very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and settled with everything we needes the first day. Libby communicated weather changes and the need for an AWD vehicle ahead of time. The perfect place to refresh and rest!
Libby and Kraig have created such a welcoming, peaceful haven. The suite is perfectly appointed with anything necessary for rest, including comfortable furniture inside and out and a well-stocked kitchenette (including essentials like K-cups and creamer, and non-essentials ,just for fun!) with air fryer/convection oven, microwave and Keurig. The king-sized bed is just wonderful--one of the markers for me of a perfect getaway is the chance to sleep comfortably and well--and this bed is perfect! The shower has amazing water pressure, which is another must-have when getting away to rest and refresh. The patio just oustide the entrance feels like an extension of the suite and an outdoor living room. Libby is a gifted gardner and has created a beautiful place where we could just sit all day, listen to the birds and enjoy the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. We're so grateful that this friendly and welcoming couple shares their home with others, and we'll keep coming back! Thank you, Libby and Kraig!!

A superior apartment
A beautiful comfortable and nicely furnished apartment that was exceedingly clean and offered much privacy. There were nice seating areas outside that offered a panoramic view of the Columbia river gorge. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here agai .

Great view, close to wine country and hiking trails. The owners were very helpful and left some coupons to local restaurants. Probably the only downside is it's kind of far from downtown and it's a windy drive out of the neighborhood.

The property was off the beaten path with an incredible view! We were there over 4th of July and could see several different towns setting off their fireworks. We met the owner on arrival and she gave us some info and made some restaurant recommendations. The property itself is immaculate and the apartment very clean. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of extra space to hang out in the living area and outside. We saw baby rabbits, deer and hummingbirds during our stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in this area!!

Perfect in every way!
We could not have asked for a more perfect getaway for our anniversary! Libby and Craig's suite was immaculately clean and thoughtfully put together, including books to read and games to play! The kitchenette has all the items needed for a couple away for the weekend, including plenty of pods for the Keurig, and the owners even provided some orange juice, water and creamer. We were so touched by the generous bowl of treats and snacks welcoming us on the table upon arrival! So thoughtful!! The furniture was very comfortable, inside and outside, especially the patio furniture from which we gazed endlessly at the river and watched the stars at night. The shower had amazing water pressure!! And the best part of our stay was just sitting outside among the beautiful flower and plant haven that the owners have created, listening to song birds, and watching the river, hawks, rabbits and deer. We will be back, and can't wait! Thank you for sharing your home, Libby and Craig!
