We loved having breakfast at the Mornington! The food was great and such good variety. Even the food from the restaurant was delicious. We loved it and definitely recommend it to anyone. It had a great location!

Great location! Close to the city pulse but also tucked away! Only one electric power outlet in the room which created some logistical issues trying to charge multiple devices

The hotel was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was good and there was a lot of choice for breakfast. We were well placed to explore Stockholm.

Superb service! The staff were the nicest we have ever met, not only with welcoming attitude but always put the guests first! They helped fulfilled many of our help needed.

Really great staff so kind and friendly. Lovely relaxing room. Very comfortable bed. I didn’t like the open drains in the bathroom but that’s a small niggle. I would stay here again. Lovely base

Not your average Chain hotel
Great place. As the title suggest, it's not a chain. We were welcomed, felt welcomed at the hotel and the staff were friendly and great. 10/10 would recommend and stay there again!

We loved our stay at mornington! The staff was so kind and helpful, the rooms are spacious, clean and very functional and the accommodations like breakfast and sauna are so nice! Great walking distance to popular areas and pubic transportation.

Great hotel, friendly staff, great location, quiet rooms. Better for couples or solo business travelers as rooms are quite small but comfortable. 2 minute walk to Metro, one stop to Central Station. 20 minute walk to Gamlastan. Hotel bar and restaurant great.

Pleasant, but probably wouldn’t stay again.
The hotel is very lovely downstairs in the bar and breakfast area. The rooms upstairs are a little dated and quite dark. The doors on the room don’t shut very well and need a harsh push to shut. The room had no internal lock, the staff sorted this out quickly and moved me to another room. Unfortunately the next day I left for the day (door locked) and came back to my room being left open (although it looked shut) I opened the door without my key. This made me feel a little uncomfortable as anyone could of gone into my room throughout the day.

I loved the cool book store/lounge atmosphere. Loved the live music in the evening. Great location. Nice gym and sauna. Good (and free) breakfast. They will arrange for a take away breakfast if you are leaving the hotel early.

We really loved the Mornington, especially the warm welcoming staff and the incredible breakfasts. We had a slight problem with our room and it was fixed the next day. We would highly recommend it.

From the minute we walked into the Lobby everything was fantastic.The people at the entire hotel were fabulous to us.The room was amazing and those pillows..wow.I normally have difficulty sleeping at hotels but not this one and their breakfasts well..lavish definitely applys.10 out of 10 out of 10 for the Mornington.

I feel like in the photos the rooms look nicer than they were in person. Rooms could have been cleaned better. Seeing someone else’s hair in the shower is not nice and seeing dust on the bedroom floor. Security is good but I felt like I was in a prison having to swipe but card to get to the elevator and to get to my room floor. Is Sweden that dangerous or are they precautious?! Staff was very friendly. I travel 10 countries a year so if a hotel is rated highly, I expect certain quality when I stay there.

It was quite a quirky hotel . A short walk from the main streets Buffet breakfast was good , I also ate one evening meal there which was fabulous . The room I was allocated was small and next to the lift , but when I mentioned it they went above and beyond to change my room so I was happy. Staff were super helpful.

The hotel is very well situated, has excellent breakfast and nicely decorated rooms. I love its books environment, a fantastic idea. The only drawback is the ventilation in the room which is noisy and cold and you cannot turn it off. It spoled my nights. Otherwise the hotel is excellent.
