Perfect location and host

Girls Getaway
Wanted a quiet and peaceful place to take a break from the city and this place was perfect. Andre was a welcoming and attentive host who made sure we had everything we needed. The property was well kept with a great waterfront view. It was a shame the weather was too cold at night or we would have taken advantage of the fire pit and s’mores which were offered. From this location it was easy to take advantage of everything Door County had to offer. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t mind a rustic setting.

Clean and quaint!
This was a perfect place for a college friend and I to stay on our weekend visit to Door. The host, Andre, made us feel very welcome and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The cottage was well maintained, clean and cozy. Great views of the bay at sunset. We plan to return again some day. I highly recommend… especially if you enjoy taking a step back in time like we do.

Booking was easy. Communication was quick and accurate. When we arrived at the property we had a beautiful view of the bay. Check in was quick. Received a tour of the cabin which was clean and comfortable. We would definitely go back.

Wonderful time
We had a wonderful time celebrating our 5 year anniversary in Door County. The cottage was clean, rustic, and cozy. Perfect for the 2 of us. It was nice to have our own little space, rather than share it with many people, as would happen at a larger resort. The views of the bay are AMAZING! The cabin and view/location was as advertised. Andre was very friendly and helpful. The internet, TV service, room sizes and bathroom were excellent. My wife would have liked a softer bed. A Simpler Time
This place took me back to my childhood. Little cabin, wooden screen door that slams. We were there with out three grandsons under the age of 11. My grandsons loved it. It was within out budget. We liked the location. It’s right out the 50s. Everything in the cabin was old but in good workable condition. We had a fun time.

Perfect Rustic Autumn Getaway
Our stay at Andropolis Waterfront Cottages was pure delight! We visited in autumn when we had previously come in summer, and the experience was just as special with an entirely new set of offerings. The autumn colors were gorgeous. The little wood stove in each cottage that hadn't been used in summer makes reading in the Fall evenings very cozy. We built a campfire and roasted cherry brats on the lawn as we listened to the lake roar at the edge of the lawn. It was thrilling! Andre' is a friendly and gracious host who's always on the adjacent property to help out or recommend places to go or eat. There are all kinds of places to stay along the Door County peninsula, but we love this property and feel in good hands with Andre' . We hope to visit again soon!

Cozy and quiet cottage with a gorgeous view
Vacationing during the pandemic seemed to be an unachievable task, but renting a cottage at Andropolis resort made it possible. We rented one of the cottages for 5 days. We were able to get some work done in the morning, then took the afternoon off to explore several state parks (Peninsula, Newport, Whitefish Dunes, and Potawatomi) and many county parks in the Door County. The location of the cottage is very convenient, we could get to any of these parks within an hour. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and quiet, and best of all, it came with a magnificent view. It sits on the west side of the Sturgeon Bay, so we would watch the sunset every night from the property with a glass of wine or beer. The owner, Andre' was very responsive before we even arrived at the property to any questions or requests we had. He was very easy to talk with; even his brother, Perry, was very helpful. What a nice family! We had a wonderful time and lots of unforgettable memory for as long as we could remember. Thanks, Andre' and Perry.

The cottage was a perfect getaway, the kids loved walking down to the water. We were in close proximity to a lot of the things we wanted to do but not in a super crowded area which we loved! Andre was great and we all hope to go back someday!

Nice Getaway
This was the perfect little cottage to get away for the weekend in. It had a rustic feel, but was still super clean and cozy. There was a play area for the kids and a beautiful view. Andre was a great host, extremely responsive and accommodating. Highly Recommend!

Ideal property for a vacation

Had a fantastic experience with Andropolis Cottages! Check-in was easy! The cottages were extremely clean, cozy, and had everything we needed and more to enjoy our stay. It was very clear that the staff takes extra precautions with cleaning and sanitizing during the pandemic. Andre and Annette went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Beautiful sunset
The property itself was great and had a beautiful yard to spend time in! The dock you can jump right off to swim, which was a huge hit with us and of course the kids. There is also plenty of seating to watch the sunset. Also a firepit and plenty of outdoor games. Property manager was very nice and helpful. We will be back!

The bay is literally right there and just breathtaking especially at sunset. A flotation device that you can tie to the dock is especially recommended! Thank you Andre!
