Check was quick as well as check out. My room was nice and warm upon arrival. Had a. huge easy to operate TV. Full breakfast starting at 4 am. Eggs, sausage,fruit,pastries etc. and wonderful coffee machine. Just a quick walk a cross the parking lot next to the airport

This is the best hotel for your arrival or departure. You can see the airport and walk right to it or to the hotel. It is clean and staff is friendly. The rooms are basic but perfect for a night. There is a small restaurant that opens for breakfast. They also open at 6pm for dinner. There's not many choices on the menu, but the choices didnt disappoint. I think this place is worth the pay and stay.

I’m not sure if my expectations were too high; however, I spent the most of my trip at a luxury hotel before switching to Aurora Hotel to be closer to the airport for the last 2 days of my trip. Most of the staff was not friendly. It almost seemed like a bother whenever I asked a question or even went to order food. I felt unwelcomed and completely out of place. The room was okay: somewhat chilly, basic and made me think of the personalities of the staff. The bed was small, considering I’m tiny; so that speaks volumes. I can only imagine the reason they get much traffic is because they are close to the airport. Which is the best feature of Aurora Hotel. The restaurant selection for dinner was slim; while, the food was barely tasty. The breakfast was okay, edible at best. I don’t plan on staying there again and would not recommend this hotel at all.

Just what we needed.
Our family had a great experience at this hotel. Compared to other airport hotels we’ve stayed at, it was on the better end. Very clean, friendly staff, good food & comfy bed. Just what we needed after missing out connecting flight.

I did 2 reservations with Orbitz: a flight MAD-IAD (with a stepover in Iceland) and a hotel room next to the airport in Iceland, because there was a long layover. FLY, the flight company, changed our flight 2 times. The second change was unreasonable. We had to cancel the flight reservation and reserve a more expensive flight MAD-IAD with a different company. Since the new flight didn´t have a stepover in Iceland, we did not need the hotel anymore. The hotel denied a refund so we lost our money ($150). Both reservations were done through Orbitz, but Orbitz didn´t take responsibility for the money loss and the problems caused. We lost money and we are not satisfied.

Airport hotel, can’t beat the location, short walking distance to terminal, limited dining choices, restaurant on site is convenient, but limited menu. Room was spacious and comfortable, overall I recommend it and most likely will book it again.

The staff was so kind. They found me a room at 7am since my flight had landed so early. The bar and restaurant was incredible. And the bus line was directly in front of the hotel. What a wonderful and convenient stay!

It’s a couple of minutes walk from the airport, bear in mind this can be in -10 degrees with a snow storm, as we experienced. So wrap up after you get off that plane! The hotel is basic, but good and does what it says on the tin, it’s an airport hotel.
