Shower curtain was not in the bathroom because the hotel sent the shower curtains to the laundry. I need to take the shower very carefully to avoid the water dropped to the floor under the sink for brushing teeth, it’s uncomfortable if the floor got wet,….. The hotel must have extra sets of shower curtains for the rooms, another set of Shower curtains can be installed inside the bathroom when they sent the shower curtains to the laundry. Overall, everything was ok to me

Overall, based on the price we paid, this is a good place to stay. However, there are two major issues that need to be aware of. Firstly, their staff only on site from 7:30am to 7:30pm. Our flight arrived at night and fortunately we speak mandarin to know that we need to go to a nearby hotel to check in and get keys for the room. Secondly, we stayed several weeks and, according to the photos and descriptions at Expedia at the time, they supposed to offer laundry facilities on site. But, after we checked in, the staff told us that they closed their laundry room months ago and the nearest laundromat is about a mile away. Otherwise, the facilities are a little old and need some more maintenance and renovations. The location is great and convenient. The management, when they are on site, is also on par. We think we will choose to stay here again if needed, and we will be better prepared.

If you're looking for "fancy", this isn't it. The facility is in serious need of a remodel and some deep cleaning. That said, if you're looking for a bed/shower, easy access to the MRT, a 7-11 right around the corner, a few good places to eat within 5 minutes walking, this place works and won't break the bank. The staff at the counter and housekeeping are exceptional and friendly, which made our stay more pleasant.

I really appreciate the front desk Mr. Li, xxx Da’s awesome service and friendliness. He is really here to assist and serve Guests and make us feel like home. The house keeping lady is really helpful and friendly too.

The hotel is a little old. It is clean but lots of water leak mark on the corner or the wall. You may find better condition hotels with the same price.

Small but convenient
The location is wonderfully convenience. The hotel is small but the service is personal. They take care of all my requests promptly. It is clean and safe. I have been staying at this hotel every time I visit the city. For the price I am paying, I can’t ask for more.

Small boutique hotel.
Small hotel with very old furnishings. Rust and dirt can be seen in toilet. Dirt can be seen on new towels. Hand mark can be seen on chair when first entered the room. Small restaurant opposite the room building, which serves quite limited food selection for breakfast. Luckily I only stayed for a night over the new year. Looking at the price I have paid and condition of hotel, I don't think it is worth the money.

Well located, good value hotel, close to metro
Very convenient location. Right next to Songjiang Nanjing metro station. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Zhongshan shopping area is a 20 min walk away. Good value. Staff are professional. Would recommend this hotel as it is a good blend of location, value and convenience

Comfort stay in Songjiang nanjing mtr
This hotel located at Songjiang nanjing mtr -a financial hub with all banks, offices are here. There are may eateries, cafes, restaurants and lady clothes boutiques too. Nearby, there are 7-11, a morning market with cheap eats. Hotel room was very old, but looked classy. There are 2 buildings for this hotel-old and new. Reception desk all time was at 1 building only. Surrounding is very silent, peaceful which I can have a good night sleep all night.

Average Hotel - Needs works!
This Hotel has 2 buildings. Quite confusing for guests coming over. I was in the older building... used to be a Love Hotel and it still might be one TBH. You pay for what you get for but this place pushing it a bit imo. very humid and moldy, dated rooms and washrooms, wouldn't give out extra towels and the rooms are quite small. Honestly, the place would have been acceptable if they just clean it up a bit but changing the curtains and cleaning/brightening up the place a little more. Would stay again if stuck with limited options... but probably ask for a room in the newer building if the cost isn't that much higher.

Good location, around the corner of Songjiang Nanjing metro station exit 7. Can take the airport bus 5201and get off at the ninth stop SONGJIANG CHANGCHUN RD. INTERSECTION（LEOFOO HOTEL). A lot of food near the hotel. Room is clean and tidy, though a bit old. Very comfortable. Only complaint is that the air-conditioner cannot be adjusted. breakfast is ok but can be better. overall, very satisfactory.

Never go again!
The room looks different from the pictures in the website. The room is much older and small. It's like back to 80's. The window is facing other building with only 30cm distance. People in another building can easily see what you are doing inside the room. The corridor is very old and narrow. The elevator can only allow 2 people with suitcases. Based on such conditions, I would like it's really over priced. The only good thing is 3 minutes to MTR exit.

Great location by Songjiang Nanjing metro
I always stay here when I am in Taipei. Location is good, right next to Songjiang Nanjing metro station. There's also a U bike station just by the metro station. From airport I take the airport bus which takes me to downtown. Can easily find the hotel when in downtown as it is right next to the metro station

Nice hotel
It is a nice hotel with very welcoming staff. Also the breakfast included with the stay was above average as well. Would recommend this hotel to my friends. It is situated in a nice area of taipei with only less than 5 min walk from the closest metro station. However, the only thing I was not happy about it was that there were only 2 outlets, both are extremely far from the bed. :/

Good location, 1 minute walking distance from Songjiang - nanjing station exit 7. However, the room was quite small and the bed was hard. Totally different from photo as the hotel actually quite old already. From the photos uploaded at expedia, it seems like it is a new hotel but actually it is not. Breakfast was very disappointing as well. Very few option. My boyfriend end up drink coffee and have toast only. We even skip breakfast on the 2nd day as it is not worth for waking up to. No sugar or cream given in the room. When i call receptionist for sugar, she went up and give me literally a pack of sugar. I'm too disappointed to ask for another pack.

Great location, boutique hotel on a budget
My stay at Erin Hotel was pleasant. For the price, it was a really good location and adequately comfortable. Pros: free wifi, international cable channels, clean room, good breakfast, friendly staff, located on a quiet alley just off the main streets, 2 minutes from the MRT station with 2 subway lines, many restaurants and a outdoor market within a two block area. Cons: bathroom will seem like a joke for anyone over 6 feet tall and 250 pounds and the bedroom is small, close quarters for 2 people max, similar to European hotels. Summary, would book again is I was traveling by myself or with significant other and wanted to be in the heart of Taipei.

The hotel's location is in a very convenient business district, however, a place where you can have all kinds of foods close by includes lots of Taiwanese traditional tastes, a place where used to be the heart of Taipei, also is a a joint of two MRT routes.

Poor room condition - 1) sofa has holes 2) flooring has holes 3) table has ants 4) shower hot water goes from hot to cold every few minutes 5) no safety box in room (the front desk gave me a paper envelope as a safety box and store at the front desk back office) 6) this hotel caters to a lot of tour group and very noisy at night

Being first time to Taipei,very helpful frontdesk help namely Selena & Stanley.Though hotel is very dated & ordinary,the friendlyness of assistance to make your stay as comfortable as possible makes up for the defects.I even experienced power failure & no water during my stay!Still it is very convenient for travelling or wandering by yourself here. Great value overall.

Convenient Location but bad room condition
We arrived midnight, they offered us the smallest room which only have very small window. Bath tube is dirty with stain on it. Shower tap tilt to the corner of the shower room, so can't be used properly. Fortunately the front desk is helpful and willing to change another room for our second night stay. The bathroom of the second room is much better but still with little window and dirty stain on the table. Overall experience is only average with lots of room to improve. Breakfast is really bad.

Great location but beware of false advertising!!
Great location, less than 2 minute walk from the MRT station and near a bus stop with multiple routes. However, this hotel was somewhat strange. The hotel was strange in that there were two parts to it across the alley from each other. We walked into the one that didn't have the breakfast lounge on the street level. At first sight, the place looks nice, and staff is friendly, but the rooms inside were definitely NOTHING like what is shown in the pictures. Our room was quite old, the bathroom paint was chipping of, and the whole place had a strange smell to it. The walls were also quite thin and we could hear the neighbors' TV. One of the other reviewers has stated it seems there's an "Erin Hotel" for which this booking was for, and then there's the "Charming City Hotel", which is the older one. We booked the Erin Hotel but I guess received the Charming City Hotel room instead. It was quite strange how we had to go across the alley for breakfast in what seemed like a newer building. We were quite disappointed to find that the rooms were nothing like what is shown in the pictures, false advertising.

Very good choice of staying at the hotel!
Erin hotel has many good things. Most of all, it is located close to MRT. It's very easy to find it. The service was also very nice. We could have egg fries every day. Room condition was clean and shower system was great. You can enjoy the hotel if you will stand a little noisy from neiborhood. Thanks!

This hotel is in a good location with easy access to the MRT. Room is basic, it is quiet but the hotel needs updating and the bathroom was in poor repair with chips in the paint and some black mold in the tub area on the walls.

Booked on a special rate with flight. Didn't feel I got good value from the room. Did not get a chance to eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant (across the street). Room was on 3rd floor but had a window that will make the room seem like it's in the basement.

Review for Charming City Hotel
I had reserved a night for the Erin Hotel, however the receptionist placed me in a different hotel across the street called The Charming City Hotel. I was a bit disappointed with the unexpected change. Pros: The Charming City hotel was conveniently close to the metro station, clean, and good customer service. Cons: seems outdated, bathroom walls are made out of glass (weird if you are staying with family), very dead and quiet area.
