Excellent hotel to stay if you are looking for something quieter and away from hustle of Taipei Main Station. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Front desk is very friendly. Enjoyed our stay.

Before booking...
Evergreen Taipei located near metro station, convenient for travelers. Hotel services were pretty good. Room were clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet has plenty to choose. The sound insulation was not as good as I expected. I heard clearly and quite annoying guest upstairs (same room location and configuration) blow flute during the night while sleeping. Kids running around upstairs can also be heard quite loud. The hotel does not have heated air conditioning during the local cold winter no matter how high you set the thermostat. Only solution is turned off. Hotel respresentative indicated no heating is a norm even during the winter. Hotel does not have fitness center. Stationary bikes and treadmill can be requested but not guaranteed.

Hotel good, rooms are quite big with good sitting desk refrigerator no small freezer to make ice cubes. No ironing board or iron. Good breakfast. Umbrella in the room and reception if needed. Quite few restaurants around very next door on the right there is a take out, juice shop, bakery, salad restaurant. Songiang Nanjing Metro green and orange line 10 minutes walk can get to all attractions easily. Bathroom shower very good commode has heated seat automated water water sprayer.

People were very helpful and it was really clean! Very close to the yellow and green subway line! Dining options, not as much as some other areas of Taipei as it is more of a business district. I would stay again and would recommend!

Very convenient location, 4-5 minutes walking to near MRT station, but have to transit at Ximen restaurant's when going to train station. Restaurants and convenient stores are nearby. The hotel looks very beautiful inside. Room is spacious and clean, the carpet looks dated. Staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. High recommended.

Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taipei is one of the best hotels that we have stayed around the world! The hotel facility is great and well maintained and it is in a very good neighborhood near the subway station. The hotel staff is among the best! They are very professional, polite and efficient! The staff helped us with the luggages, arranging the Taxi, even providing snacks for our early flight (as we missed the breakfast). The breakfast buffet is great with both Chinese and western style food. You may often see the general manager, Mr. Chen, in the lobby or dining room, greeting and taking care of customers! We’ll stay in this hotel again whenever possible!

An excellent hotel in every way. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The room is very clean, spacious, and quiet. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the nearest metro station. This is my top choice of hotels in Taipei.
