The room we were first assigned had not been cleaned yet. However, we were given another room right away. That room was great, staff excellent. Appreciate the eco friendly services. It was convenient for our ferry ride the next morning. Nice restaurant within 5-10 minutes walking near the water.

The ORU is very nice in appearance, its breakfasts are great. We arrived late, 10 pm, on the first night. The heat was on in the room. It was between 75 and 80 degrees F. I shut off the heat and tried to find a way to cool the room. My wife and I like to sleep around 68 degrees F as recommended by the National Sleep Institute. I went to the front desk and told the clerk the room was too warm and I could not find a way to cool it. He came to the room and the control panel was not active. A sign on the wall said they "turned off the air conditioning at the end of summer" This was October 7. The clerk said he would have them turn it on. It was never on during the next ten days. We could not sleep that first night because of the heat. The next day we brought in a fan. By leaving the window open continuously and running the fan we could get the temperature down. The street workers worked until midnight each night and with the window open it was noisy. While the rooms did not have AC, their restaurant did. The bathroom doorway had a square piece of wood across the opening at the floor. It did not taper to the floor. I stubbed my toe on it several times.

Beautiful room which was well laid out with a fantastic shower room. Loved the refillable water bottles and fridge drawer. Most comfortable bed. Great facilities and good breakfast in the morning with lots of choice. Staff were extremely nice even offering to pack up a breakfast for me to have at the airport for my early flight. My room was however very near the main road and at busy times could be quite noisy even with soundproofing. However really only noticed it on the 1st night as had migraine and sounds really affect it. Otherwise background noise.

Everything was very neat and clean and tidy. Staff was helpful and accomodated my needs for an early check out for 5:00am as well. They went out of their way to make sure I had an early buffet breakfast which was great!

Gem of a hotel
Overall great hotel. Excellet staff Breakfast was awesome and unusually for me tried the restaurant food and was so Impressed ate their a second time Nice room. Only small fault was location which in winter is a little bleak and exposed around the park area but would be a joy in Better weather Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

Good for my one-night business trip
The hotel is nice but a bit far from town but easy accessible by a short taxi ride. But the address is not show accurately on GoggleMap. I was asking my taxi driver where we are going when I thought he’s passed the destination. Glad that he know this place by name and did not count on the address I provided.

Nice hotel near park.
The hotel is near kadriorg park just five minutes on foot. There is a bus station. It is convenient to downtown. It is also near coast. It is fit for self-driving tourists.

this hotel only for 1-2 nights to stay for the moment under remodeling inside nobody tell about that some food in remodeling area some stuff friendly some not they force me to pay extra50 eur for smoking in room and after when i proof by myself what i not smoke they finally apologized but not manager so only reception first and last day was ok and friendly

Great 3-star hotel!
We were pleasantly surprised to find this a great hotel about 5 km from the airport. It's a 3-star and nothing fancy, but still a great place for the money. Though the room was a bit small, it was clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast was great. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Do not expect that you will get what you booked!
First of all, I didn`t like a location. Rooms are outdated, inadequate cleaning, the TV remote did not work (although then repaired), breakfast poor, the noise from the road. The second reason I didn`t like the hotel is: I was planning a trip and reserved the room with a sauna. We often visit Tallinn with my wife and have always stayed at the hotel spa. At this time decided to stay in Oru as the hotel offers rooms with a sauna. Arriving for the holidays at the hotel we were told that rooms with sauna busy.We refused to explain how this could happen and who took our room. My wife and I were very disappointed. In other hotels we couldn`t rent anything because it was high season and all the rooms are occupied. We had to stay at ORU. The girls at the reception tried to apologize of course, brought us champagne and fruit, but it has not replaced a sauna. It is not the same( This is not what we booked several months in advance. Next time we`ll book a hotel in the old town or in Pirita.

Good value for money
Nice clean hotel, nothing to complain. Excellent choise, if you are with a car, parking right in front. Also buss stop just a cross the street with a stright connection to the center. Breakfast was basic (good compared to the price of the room). Altogether good value for the money, price was clearly less than what you'd have to pay from other same level hotels in the city. I would stay again.

My stay was very enjoyable. Hotel about 30 minute walk from centre, but regular buses, trams etc if you didnt want to walk.

Spent a weekend in Oru hotel and was unpleasantly surprised by a dirty room. The breakfest was a bit boring, but good. Not very close to the old town, but easy accessible by taxi.

Nice & clean hotel, good price with tasty breakfast. Although it's not close to Old town, but very easy to get into there by bus (no shop to buy bus ticket close to the hotel, better buy them from airport or port once arrived). But there is No kettle in the room, need to get the Hot water from reception for making BAby milk in midnight. Had been asked to pay 20 cents for a cut of hot water on my 2nd night. The first time in my life to pay for hot water in a hotel.

Vey pleasant stay in hotel which was reasonably priced.Room had its own balcony and air conditioning.Breakfast excellent.. As others have stated it is away from the city centre however what you save on cost can be used for the local bus.

Hotel Oru is out of Tallinn city centre in a quiet location yet plenty of buses and taxis are available to take you into the centre in about 10-15 minutes. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant has a good menu and was excellent value for money. Breakfast also offered a wide choice. My only fault is that there are no facilites in the room to make a cup of tea or coffee you have to go to reception and buy a drink.

Good vacation spot. Fine restaurant with remarkable breakfasts. The benevolent personal. Well equipped rooms. It is easy to reach city center on public transport. It is possible to pass on foot on quay by interesting monuments.

Hotelli oli siisti ja mukava, mutta palvelussa oli parantamisen varaa. Matkustimme laulujuhlille. Yritimme selvittää etukäteen sekä puhelimitse että sähköpostitse, kuinka hotellin parkkipaikalle pääsee autolla, mutta emme saaneet ohjeita. Kun tulimme autolla Tallinnaan, emme meinanneet päästä hotellille, koska katuja oli suljettu ja meiltä puuttui parkkilupa. Lopulta saimme sen soittamalla hotelliin uudestaan.
