Firstly, it is not a 4 star hotel. The surrounding area was not so conducive. The restaurant staff were good. The reception staff not so good. The doorman Charlie was excellent.

Property is centrally located in Dist 1. I tried the hotel just to do something different. Bed was comfy. Quiet, staff were great and understood English. Easy walking to many bars, etc.

A beautiful example of French colonial style, spacious well appointed rooms and the best location in District 1 The buffet breakfast is excellent, with EGW to order and large variety of western and Asian dishes. Staff at the Majestic could not be more helpful, and the doorman especially provided a fantastic and friendly service. The rooftop bar has live music and a great range of beers wines and cocktails, we also enjoyed the bar meals. The Hotel Majestic Saigon is our favourite place to stay when in Ho Chi Minh City, and with the 100 years anniversary next year and we plan to be back to celebrate

Good location, fantastic rooftop pool with seating and a bar. A great place to read a book, or cool off and get away from the heat. Really loved it up there, it truly is as pictured. There was a lovely dining area with a live pianist and free afternoon tea each day as well. The floor of our room was not very clean with dust and hair, but the bathroom and bedding was clean. We were charged for a face and large towel which they said they could not get a stain out of. It was just some residue makeup that definitely would have come out. The replacement towel had some discolouration marks on it, so it felt a bit rich to have charged for this given the state of the towels to begin with.
