Location excellent for walking. A taxi ride to the station and ferry terminal. Rooms dated and a lot of noise from water pipes and lift wells. Coffee machine in bar not working. I would not stay again

Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional and very accommodating to our requests. We loved the pool and the garden around it - so lush, beautiful and peaceful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only two minor things I disliked were the loud noise from the elevator at night and the shortage of lounging chairs at the pool (you need to secure yours in the morning). Other than that, everything exceeded my expectations. Chellah will be our go-to hotel in the future.

Not what l expected...
Food, was ok. Service was very nice..but the room...not at all what was shown on the online booking: Old smell, old carpets, booked a double bed and i got 2 separate beds, shower was falling appart. Expect loud show music up til midnight even with closed windows, AC but no remote to use it and a TV as small as my hand.

Staff charge city tax in cash and when you ask them for a receipt, they get annoyed. Rooms were much worse than the photos we saw online. No hot water in the morning before our flight- Had a cold water shower at 5am. The only good thing about this place is the Italian restaurant round the corner called anna e paolo.

The check in process was easy. The room was old and not too tidy. The bathtub was filfthy with a thick layer of film as well as the shower curtain. I advised reception and it was cleaned, but I asked to have my room changed. Hey did so with no problem. Breakfast was decent.

Dont stay here, reviews tell the truth, shit show!
So many things need to change for this hotel to be good. For starters management dont read the booking! I paid for a Jr suite. tried to put me in a crappy regular room. I get into the suite and there are holes in the shower walls, corroded shower heads and bugs. I was able to open the door with a credit card in 30 seconds!!!!! no key!!! told the manager he said dont worry about it, no one will steal from you. I also ordered a non smoking room, no such thing here every room has ashtrays. in the morning 6am I woke up to my room filled with smoke from the next room. went to the desk changed rooms, put me in a regular room again, told them I paid for a suite, had to wait 3 hours fo a new suite to open. get there (not nearly as nice without a balcony too) at this point I just wanted to leave. thankfully I only stayed 2 nights. Oh the pool closes at 6pm, sunset is at 8pm, this is Africa!!!!!!! it is hot!!!!!! last thing Wifi sucks!!!!! get your act together Chellah!!!!!!!

It doesnt seem like hotel caters to tourists, they do not have any maps of the city and do not bother to explain anything related to the city or attractions, like other hotels I have experienced. On two separate occasions I asked for wifi, the first time, the first guy said only allowed in loby, I asked for password and he said there is no password. Out of frustration and lack of help, I decided to go back to room. Second time I asked, a girl finally gave us the password to the wifi. Coming from a different country, I feel that staff need more customer service training, especially to tourists. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable.

Close to town.
I think this was my eighth visit to the Chellah. Although the music at night was a little interfering it still didn't spoil my stay. I hope to return soon.

DO NOT STAY HERE!
There is no parking and no WIFI in the rooms despite the hotel advertising as such. When we asked where we should park, there was absolutely no willingness from the hotel staff to help us despite one of our party being able to speak Spanish and Arabic. If you want to leave and come back, forget it. You park on the street, drag your bags, and walk wherever you're going until it's time to leave. The room was fine enough, except there was no trash can and the bathroom was in poor condition. Despite being incredibly unhelpful, the staff was quick to stop us from eating our take-away anywhere than our room where the only place to eat was our beds. Terrible experience. Go almost anywhere else.

Great central location.
Great location, close to everything. The price of the room is really very affordable for long stays. Very friendly staff. The only negative is that WiFi service is not available in the rooms; however, it was accessible in the café and lobby area. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its price and strategic location.
