Superb Quality HotelPosted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Everything, from Service to the relaxed feeling.
Location: The hotel sits right on a beach and there a short walk to other restaurants and shops. There are also bus stops nearby to explore the surrounding area
From the moment you walk into the El Mirador, you feel welcome. The reception is seated and you are offered complimentary drinks. Your case will be taken to your room and you will be walked around it to ensure you are happy. The food served across the three restaurants is excellent. The hotel, rooms and pool area are wonderful. We will definitely visit again.

A grown up and relaxed holiday.Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Good food. Very relaxed. In easy reach of resort.
Location: Quiet & peaceful location but busier places were easily reached via a promenade all the way along the front. We did one raucous night at las Americas.
Lovely hotel in a beautifully kept part of adjective. Everyone in hotel and nearby restaurants helpful and friendly.

Best 5 star hotel we have ever stayed in. Not having been to Tenerife before so we were a little bit apprehensive, Upgraded to La Balconada and had the most amazing time ever. The room, staff and hiotel were absolutely amazing, Can't wait to go back.

Fab hotel, wish we could have stayed longer!Posted Jun 12, 2014
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a couple of nights in May before staying with family elsewhere. It was my boyfriends birthday during our stay so this hotel looked perfect for a celebratory and relaxing few days. the hotel was beautiful and our room was amazing. I booked a junior suite but it was far better than I had imagined!! All the staff were helpful and friendly, especially at reception and the bar. As it was my boyfriends birthday they had arranged for a box of chocolates and birthday note to be put in our room with a really nice towel design on the bed. I was going to ask them to do something but they already knew it was his birthday! The facilities are amazing and the hotel was really nice and quiet. There are no negatives to our stay and I would definately be coming back. I would recommend this hotel 100% and we wish we could have stayed longer!!

lovely hotel, seem to have thought of everything.Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: The Hotel could not do enough to help with any problem, and rectified straight away. It was an adults only hotel.
Cons: nothing, thought they had it just right.
Location: As we just went for a rest, only walked a mile or so. plenty of shops and restaurants, lovely walks and clean beach.
Easy booking experience, the trip went like clockwork excellent.

Beautiful hotel with the perfect locationPosted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: Mattresses and kettles in rooms.
Location: A relatively small resort but there are plenty of high-end clothes shops, good (though a tad expensive) restaurants and a beautiful black sand beach.
This was our second stay at El Mirador and we will definitely be going back. It's hard to find fault, but when pressed, we could only comment that most mornings we woke up with some backache possibly from the mattress but may have been due to the excessive amounts of lying by the pool. This year we went armed with a kettle and coffee as there aren't any in the rooms. This would be a nice touch to otherwise well equipped rooms. Other than that, the hotel cannot be faulted: from the staff, facilities, food, views and overall experience are all top class.

Excellent Adult Only HotelPosted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: Adult only facility and the rooms (all suites)
Cons: If you were at the wrong end of the hotel it was a trek to the only lifts (it is only 4 floors in reality)
Location: Costa Adeja is quieter than Las Americanas (thankfully). The promenade in either direction is pleasant (better away from Las Am) and there is a market
We chose this hotel as it was shown as 'Adult Only' and it lived up to that requirement. there were one or two families there but in all cases the children were at least 16. Staff very helpful and friendly, it was quiet (as you would expect from Adult only) and you could walk from the hotel onto the pleasant promenade and onto the beach. Food was on the good side of average with the two a la carte restaurants being better than the 'standard' restaurant (which was still OK). I would have no problems in recommending this to anybody who was after a quality adult only hotel.

Luxurious restful place for adultsPosted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: see above
Cons: see above
Location: we had both been ill and did not go outside the hotel except for food shops.
Staff excellent, friendly and helpful to us,and in respect to my walking disability. Able to avoid slopes and steps with my wheelchair mostly. Atmosphere inside quiet and restful. Food buffets with breakfast offer excellent and varying choices over 9 days from main restaurant, though there are others we did not need to sample. The spa was disappointing; there is a smell in the air from the drains, as it is in the basement, and it has no daylight. In addition it was not all working properly when we stayed. The 20 Euro normal charge (waived during repairs) is excessive.
