The hotel was outdated and the water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent. Housekeeping was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Room was OK. Night desk person was very helpful with dinner recommendations. We added the breakfast for 2 for $5 through Expedia. It is actually a food voucher with a value of $10 for up to 2 people at the cafe/Starbucks. Confusing at first, but breakfast sandwiches were good.

While I had a friendly check in, the hotel restaurant needs some training of staff. First the server looked for Sauvignon Blanc among the red wines. Then I was served a Caesar salad with a vinaigrette dressing. The rooms are not well insulated and the guy above me getting up at 4 am resulted in a nearly start to my day.

The beds were not properly made. It looked like my 10 year old made them. The toiletries were used. The tube of shampoo was empty and the lotion was 1/2 empty. Staff was nice. Lock on the door was hard to lock. Wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom. AC was super frosty which was good. I’ll stay elsewhere next time though.

The hotel is undergoing renovations which should improve the conditions of the carpets in the rooms. And hopefully they will get softer mattresses. Area is great for eating ideas - Waffle House, Cracker Barrel, Andy’s Custard. But difficult to get to off the Interstate - very confusing roads.

Good but Could be Better
The desk clerk had trouble finding my two-person reservation. When she did it took her a few minutes to process. I got a room that had two bath towels. I think most people use two towels each. The alarm clock typically on the nightstand wasn't there. I found it almost under the bed which means whoever cleaned the room wasn't looking. And finally, there was little communication like about the breakfast or any amenities.

The hotel and staff were great with one exception. The remote did not work with our tv. They replaced ot and even came to the room to figure it out. Still didnt work and no solution. I would have appreciated a discount of aome sort

Housekeeping help
Lack of housekeeping support. Sticky beverage rings on a number of surfaces old candy wrappers on the floor. Refrigerator was turned off and had defrosted in a tray in the past lots of icky water. Toilet had not seen a brush in a while. Trash cans had bags but were just laying on the side. I don’t think that there was a trash can anywhere on the property that was not overflowing

They have updated the lobby and dining area nicely, but the sleeping rooms definitely need renovation and soon. Stains on carpeting, couch - ceiling damage in our room. Wonderful large flat screen TV with streaming options. The sleeping rooms are very spacious and beds were comfortable.
