Explore the wonders of Michigan's Harbor Country while staying in our relaxing private home, The Getaway. A few minutes walk to charming shops, restaurants, and event venues including Journeyman Distillery, The Acorn Theater, and The Social Club in Three Oaks. Three Oaks is just a ten minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan and thirty-five minutes to Notre Dame. Enjoy the small town lifestyle and find your own moment to getaway.

The Getaway is a 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom two story single family home. The upstairs hosts two queen size bedrooms and on the first story is an open layout kitchen, dining, and living room along with another bedroom featuring a daybed and trundle for two twin beds and bathrooms complete with laundry for your use.

Access to the entire house and outdoor space including front porch, rear deck and screened in porch. Large yard with cooking fire pit and bocce (supplied).

Interaction with guests will be via e-mail, text or phone with self check-in.

Guests will receive a code for the front door and host interaction will be limited to provide a private getaway.

We enjoyed the quiet, clean, well appointed space so much. We are in the demolition phase of remodeling a house nearby. It was wonderful to come back to a clean, quiet space to recover!

The home is beautiful and in a great location. It was quiet and within walking distance to Three Oaks center. So many wonderful touches, wine, coffee beans, slippers, robes and a lovely record player and albums and very comfortable beds. Would highly recommend this comfortable home.

Cute home in a great neighborhood
We really enjoyed our stay at The Getaway and wish we were there longer. The home is quaint, yet spacious with plenty of outdoor living area. It's close to town and all of the area amenities, including shopping, dining, gaming and the Interstate. Everything we needed was provided and we were very comfortable and felt safe. We will definitely return!

Ivan and Carly were fantastic to work with!! They responded immediately with any questions I had with planning, etc. So many extras….snacks, chilled wine, espresso and coffee beans, robes and slippers, laundry detergent…..that made our trip more enjoyable! This home was exactly as described. Close to the beach and wineries which was the reason for our trip. The owner was very responsive and has thought of everything. Snacks and wine were available in the kitchen upon arrival and robes and slippers were in every room. We loved the screened in back porch, very relaxing.

10 Minute Dr to Beach!
Location location location! It was perfect for what we needed. Close to the beach without the coastal prices. The house was beautiful and had a lot of touches you do not see in your typical VRBO. The hosts left us a basket of snacks (which the kids ate up in one day) and a bottle of wine for the adults! Other than your food, there is nothing you need to bring. Nothing. They thought of everything. They provided a coffee bar too with all the ! They left robes and slippers enough for all guests! The neighborhood was quiet, and foe the most part, the neighbors kept to themselves. The large deck area was more than accommodating for our family, and a screened in back porch perfect for a bug free evening. But the part my kids loved the best was the record player. Even though the selection was "old-timey"music, as they said (if you consider Elvis old-timey), they enjoyed having a dance party l. I would definitely recommend staying here at this cute bungalow close to the beach and activities.
