Great location for this small hotel
Great location for this small hotel. Very friendly and helpful receptionist, who we arranged discounted parking with a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We had continental breakfast both mornings (€12 per person per day) which had a good selection of fruit, cheese & ham, croissants and cakes. Room was clean and a reasonable size for a 2 night stay. Recommend

Very helpful staff. Parking was challenging but once located it worked well. Great location with easy walks to everything and many restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Quaint little place in the best part of Tours, which we loved. Walkable downtown with a metro line and many streets without vehicles. Friendly staff, small bit comfortable rooms, tiny shower but it works well. We would definitely stay here again. No elevator though.

Ideal hotel for visiting Tours
Overall, a very pleasant stay. Gentlemen on reception was lovely and very helpful. Very good location for restaurants and sightseeing. Would stay here again.

Very pleasant stay
A warm welcome to a perfect small hotel. Excellent air-conditioning was much appreciated! Small room but had everything we needed and a comfortable bed. The hotel does not have a lift so be careful if stairs are a problem for you.

Lovely, helful and friendly staff who spoke good english. Located close to restaurants and shopping. Room comfortable& clean. Good choice for breakfast-fruit, breads, yogurts,cereals. No elevator & wifi dropped a couple of times. Overall, thoroughly satisfied with my stay, would recommend.

This property was perfect for us and the location is great. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast very nice. Close to the old city and cathedral and near to the train and many excellent restaurants. There is no elevator and the WiFi wasn't very strong in our room which was relatively small. Bed very comfortable. The building is old ( like most things in Tours) but well maintained. It is a very nice and very affordable place to stay in an excellent location.

Great hotel, perfect location.
The front desk staff and check in were great and efficient. As we are traveling France by bicycle, the hotel provided bike storage. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was classic French style with everything being fresh and the coffee delicious. The location is perfect - quiet yet close enough to all the action. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Hotel Ronsard.

We had a nice stay while in town for a wedding. it's a well taken care of little hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. The hotel is located right in the center of town which made it easy to walk to anywhere you'd like to go for food or drinks.

The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was narrow and long but clean and warm with a towel heater in it. The breakfast was very good and a good selection and home made cakes. It was quite near to the station but not near enough to walk with a couple of suitcases - though a taxi was very reasonably priced. It was an older hotel with no lift which was a problem with baggage - not a huge amount but enough for a 5 - 6 week holiday from Australia.The receptionist kindly gave us a room on the ground floor which was good. we were only there 1 night before going off to a little village 2 hrs from Tours.

Great hotel downtown, intimate for two
The good: The hotel is in a great location in the old town/city center. The staff is pleasant and accommodating; check in/out was easy. The room and amenities were all clean and refreshed daily. The less-good: Our room was on the smaller side for two people. Our WC door was a lightly-frosted glass with the toilet ~1.5m from the bed, leaving little privacy when using the facilities. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend the hotel if you are a single traveler or you are comfortable with the level of intimacy that the room arrangement affords.

Nice, clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. Great location within walking distance of train station and "old city". Lots of dining selection, lots to visit. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable room, excellent location within 15 minutes walk to metro station, old town centre and other landmarks. Staff was very friendly and professional. Although there is no staff on site after 9 pm, building is very secure with only registered guests having access and we had no issues with this.

Convenient central hotel with friendly staff
Nice little hotel with friendly staff, located close to many of the amenities and sights in Tours - Cathedral, squares with great bars and restaurants and the river. Good breakfast selection, though can find much cheaper locally. The toilet arrangement with sliding (frosted) glass door may not suit all tastes! Wi-Fi OK.

Wonderful town.
Easy to walk to everything in town like cathedral, tapestry, cafes and restaurants. A long walk to the train station but doable. Easy to get a taxi.

this place is in a great spot, once you're able to find street parking. the room is average-sized, and the bathroom is small with a small shower. it was a comfortable room for one night.
