One of the challenges of having our private balcony rooms ground level is that the rooms below are partially underground and sometimes do have a musky odor. We use the dehumidifiers to control the moisture down in those rooms. They work real well. I will figure out which room you were in and see if there might be something else going on. We have a good reputation for clean rooms, and I want to keep that positive. Even with the labor situation awe are facing, I try my best to see that each one does his/her job correctly, and, yes, they move too quickly! We always use an extra bath towel as the bathmat in the bathroom. I do hope you will come back and stay with us again someday.

My husband and I built the Inn in 1982 and continue to operate it providing clean, comfortable lodging for folks visiting the Smoky Mountains National Park, and loving meeting new friends and seeing old ones that come every year. We normally have all our guests pay when they arrive so if a guests need to check out early in the morning before the Office opens, they certainly can by just leaving the key in the room or in the door in case you might forget something!
