The unpleasant smell right from the lobby through the elevator to the room. TV didn't work. Shower didn't work. We had to go out and buy antibacterial disinfectant spray also odor eliminators. We could not shower. This hotel need some serious renovations and upgrade.

Very dirty. They didn’t change the sheets after the previous occupant. Realized it from the smell. Asked them to give a different room to which they said they don’t have any available. They gave me some clean sheets so that I go and change on my own, which I ended up doing. Breakfast area was super dirty. Nobody cleans it until the end of the breakfast time. I thought Comfort inn was one of best among the cheaper lodging and they watch over the quality . I guess it completely depends who runs the branch/location

From the outside it looks ok. Inside, this place was a mess! The rooms with connecting doors are atrocious. The doors are SUPER CHEAP and do not block ANY sound. After getting a room change I discovered it could get worse - the rooms without connecting doors were FILTHY. I wish I remembered to take pics. The bed was dirty, the walls were dirty, the floors were dirty. There were smashed bugs on the wall, the (once) white duvet was dirt stained. The bathroom tub had a drain spout that was hanging on for dear life. The elevator floor had large clumps of dirt and sticky mess all over it for 3 days. Avoid this hotel at all costs! The discounted price isn’t worth it. The “long term residents” of the hotel go in and out to their cars all hours of the night. There are a number of large trucks in the lot they sit in, run their engines, and a car will pull up next to them for a minute, and then they come back inside. You can decide for yourself what is going on.

This used to be an ok place but not any more Too many questionable people hanging around. Room was filthy and smelled moldy and Smokey. Plumbing was falling off the wall. Noisy. Our room outlet did not work and the desk person came in to wiggle the cord and said it would be fine. The bathroom exhaust did not work. I was lied, when I got there I wanted to know my final cost, It started at 136 then I was told after Triple A was added my final would be $119 tax included. When I went to leave, the paper they handed me was$139. I also stayed at the Comfort Inn in St Augustines it was $95 I want that $20 removed

What a poor "Choice" we made with this motel. Non-refundable, of course. We had a horrible 4 night stay at this stinky place. Our room was filthy, refrigerator rusty, no roll in toilet paper holder, toilet seat broken, telephone broken and wires on the floor by the air conditioner. Breakfast was a joke - 3 bins of stale cereal, stale donuts, no fruit in sight and napkins consisted of a large roll of brown paper that you had to rip off like you find in rest rooms. The owners - the Patels - were extremely unfriendly and quite put out if you asked for more towels or a pillowcase, which was missing when we checked in. No one told us there was no room service for 3 days. No one told us you had to put your trash out by your door daily. One day I asked a slovenly front desk woman where the pool was so I could go out and read. She barely looked up from her phone and pointed down the hall. The gate was locked, so I walked back and told her. She very rudely and loudly said "Of course it's locked! It's been closed all summer!" Can you imagine treating customers this poorly! When we travel, we like cleanliness and professionalism. Never again will we stay at any Choice Hotel. I would think that Corporate would inspect their motels more frequently.

Handicap rooms shouldn’t be carpeted or have a deep tub causing problems getting into and out of. Shower head to low and handle separated from tubing. Poor lighting in bathroom and no exhaust fan in bathroom/shower. Parking spaces are narrow Limited Handicap Parking. Will never stay or recommend this place.

Yesterday travel from Maryland to nj and try to stay at the hotel,but end up leaving the hotel at midnight back to Maryland the the lady in the front desk is terrible no manners whatsoever treat the costumers like crap,when i finally went to the room i rented the beds were undone like someone just got up from them i told the lady about it and she said it was not her problem Terrible experience i won't recommend that place i was with my son and she insinuated that i was there to have have with that person

Piles of junk behind the front desk; I should have turned around. Carpets were stained and old. Our sheet was stained. The microwave which is 20 years old was broken anyway. The a/c worked great, and the shower was great, although the tubs are very narrow and dangerous to stand in. Basically, the place is kind of a dump for any price.

Pretty run down property. Kind of dirty. Lobby and hallways had no AC and were very hot. Room carpets were stained and shower needs a remodel. Staff was friendly.
