One of the worst novotel hotels i hv stayed in . Rooms r small , dated , furniture chipped and dirty, horrible breakfast with flies all over the food. Staff at the bar and breakfast are not helpful. The staff are more intrested in tips. At lunch the staff and extra meal which i said i didnt order he the started saying it would be big problem for him so i paid for 1 extra dish. As i thought it may hv been an honest mistake. When we went for a walk we saw a lot of con artists one telling us he works at our hotel and needed 20 dinar to feed his family and will pay me back. At the checkout the bell boy got us a taxi and he was on the phone while he got us a taxi and when the taxi arrived i told the bell boy and taxi guy to take me and my family to airport carthge and the taxi driver drove us around 5 min kept circling the area . Luckly i had google maps on and was tracking the route then he took a turn to a different motorway so i stop him . he pretended he didnt knew we were going to airport and said i thought you were going to carthage city then he started calling someone i m pretty sure it was the bell boy . I said take me back to the hotel or airport i had to tell him to follow the google maps route. On reaching the airport he quickly turned off the meter its was either 6 or 7 dinar i payed him 10 dinar . Be really carefull when staying at this hotel or in this area i will not recommend it to anyone

I booked for the first time at Novotel Tunisia and Paid £145 around 540 Tunisia dinner for one night sent an e mail To request a room suitable for a family of 2 adults and two children.
They emailed me back and confirmed that a suitable room is booked for us and will have a spare bed for the second child.
When we arrived at the room it was terrible experience when we found that the room was so small for the price I’ve paid.
The sofa bed was so small and filthy the maters was full of stains and the fridge was not working so we couldn’t cool down the water and drinks
Also the main bedding had a bad smell
I’ve meet some other guests at the hotel and they told me they were paying 100 Tunisian money a night.
I felt we were ripped off
So I spoke to the manager in the morning and he promised to speak to the general manager regarding a discount and a refund and will call me and e mail me the next day.
One week later today I am still waiting for his e mail.
This was my first and last time at the Novotel Tunis
I wouldn’t recommend it especially at that value there are plenty of other cheaper and better accommodation in Tunis

Not what you would normally expect from Novotel. Not a great start the taxi never arrived that was booked through Novotel from the airport. Never had an explanation or feedback why ? A few issues with the room, blocked sinks and shower wasn’t easy to use. A positive the buffet was great and the food lovely.

Old hotel, room carpet is old, the corridor roof is leaking, no microwave or iron in the room, if you need to iron your clothing you have to order Laundry before 2 pm! and there will be a fee!

The hotel is very nice for business trip and has a nice coffee shop in the roof with a nice view and small pool not used for swimming.

I travel to Tunis twice a year and have always stayed at Hotel Belvedere which is a nice, cosy hotel. Novotel was much cleaner, the food mu ch better and the staff more professional. The meetings rooms are better here and the room in a far better condition. So I would definitely stay again.

This is my second stay in this hotel, not disappointed. Good service, comfortable bedding, centrally located, free parking. However there's nothing in the neighbood because it's a business district (banks mainly) and you have to drive to Berges du Lac (10 minutes) to find a good restaurant or cafe. You can also drive for 25 mn to Sidi Bousaid Gammarth or La Marsa to find even better restaurants and places.

We love staying at the Novotel. We are always impressed by the friendly staff, the super-comfortable beds and bedding, the delicious breakfast, and the general atmosphere. This time we also enjoyed the rooftop pool, which was beautiful with a gorgeous view. It is our favorite place to stay in Tunis, and we look forward to visiting again.

Overall a good business hotel. Restaurant was fantastic and the room was clean. My bed was especially uncomfortable... far and away the only downside of my stay.

The rooms are extremely small with no frills whatsoever. The quality of the rooms are better classified as 3 star. The TV is unbelievably small. The USB socket does not work and I ended up not charging my phone. However, the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great.
Nothing to dislike about the property apart that the ventilation was not working very well but I think it is because it was winter and they switched off the A/C. The ambiance at night was brilliant! They had a superb singer and guitarist to keep us entertained in a very business like atmosphere. Perfect hotel for business!

Hotel was what you would expect from a Novotel. Very comfortable and friendly staff. The hotel has a great rooftop terrace and the food in the restaurant is not bad but its on the outskirts of the city centre.

Average hotel a bit close to old city
The check-in experience was OK.
At first I thought the hotel was close to the old town (Bab B'her); but it turned out that one needed to walk for 30 minutes before reaching the old gate of Bab B'her. My Mom was with me and given her age we ended up taking a taxi to reach destination. Next time I will make sure to book a hotel in Bourghiba avenue or nearby which is closer.
Apart from that, the hotel was overall fine. However, I had a concerning with their bath towel. Honestly speaking they should have cared more about their cleanness. I suppose that for a four-star hotel, this should be taken seriously.
All things considered, it was not bad spending time at that hotel.
The place was as expected in terms of comfort and cleanliness. The room was very clean.
The toilet part is separated from the restroom for better or worse. I would have wished if they had included an iron and board to iron my clothes. However, they did offer a laundry service which I am not sure if it was free. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was average in terms of taste. They use an automatic espresso machine with pallets to serve coffee.
Wonderful service! I have stayed here many, many times. They go above and beyond always. My team I travel with uses this hotel often and we are always happy to arrive. They are accommodating always.

Nice hotel in the center of the city
Nice hotel with good location few minutes walk to main 14 Jan square. Good service
We appreciated the staff's help and availability. The hotel is 10 min. walking from Habib Bourguiba avenue and 15 min. by car from les berges du lac where kids appreciated the Carthageland.
The 8th floor gives a nice view of Tunis. Unfortunately I didn't appreciate the usage @night (bar and swimming pool) by people from outside the hotel (non resident). It suggest to convert it to a restaurant where we can have good dinner and good wine.
excellent hotel, the rooms are very clean and comfortable even for a family stay, I highly recommend for short or long stay. It is located in the heart of Tunis, close to every thing.
Good hotel - friendly staff. Breakfast buffet a bit average (Coffee was Nescafe) but food in general was good. Wifi working well in the rooms. A small issue with the A/C was solved by opening/closing the window a couple of times.
I stayed for 4 nights for business purposes, and it was ideal. the staff is extremely helpful and welcoming, premises are very clean and bedroom confortable, no issue with wifi and breakfast was amazing. (buffet with great choice and fresh fruit juice!)
The area seemed safe but not in city center (30 minutes walk)
I will definitely go back.
