The views from our room and the rooftop pool area were fantastic. The room was very comfy, the taxi services provided by the hotel were very good, and we will visit there again.

Nice rain shower
Cheap and clean with nice rain fall shower. Couldnt ask for more. Location is near gwk, you could also see a glimpse of gwk from hotel.

budget hotel with a stunning view
Our overall experience is quite good. We have been to the hotel before, so we pretty much know what to expect. Our room is located in a higher floor so it has beautiful view and quick access to the rooftop - the main attraction of the hotel. Room is clean and comfortable, although some of the furniture look pretty banged up. Breakfast is okay and considering the rate, offers a decent selection. The main issue we had was during check-in. We checked-in quite late (around 9 p.m) - so we understand if the staff might be a bit tired. But we felt a bit unhappy with the fact that the staff didn't bother to explain the facilities again since 'you've been here before' Moreover, our issue was that I was not informed that the payment has been charged to my CC prior to my arrival, and upon check-out I nearly paid again for the room. simple thing, but if you miss out this might cause trouble. All in all, we were pretty happy but certainly there were things that could be improved.

Service and staff were amazing couldn’t help us enough. Pool on the roof had the best views in Bali The only down side was the walls were a bit thin so heard a lot of other people staying in the hotel.

Nice Hotel
Nice hotel and quite trendy. Rooms are very clean although lacked a few comfort items such as tissues. Private balcony is good but the rooms are very noisy, especially when cleaning staff move their trolley down the outside corridor in the mornings. Rooftop area has a great view and is one of the highest points to see Kuta, Jimbaran. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The rooftop is the only good part
Arrived at 1am from airport. They overbooked so i had to be shuttled to another hotel, check in there, check out in the morning and then check into the MaxOne. Extremely inconvenient, didnt offer any sort of compensation. High volume hotel so cleanliness should be thorough. Not the case, it appears like doors and walls have never been wiped, there is matter stuck to them and drip marks. I wouldnt touch the elevator walls either. Walls are paper thin, you can hear people shifting in bed in the room next door. Loud school groups yelling in the hallways. Continuous knocking on my door at 9am from housekeeping wanting to clean, woke me up from a deep sleep. Ended up having to stay an extra night and got charged a higher price than booking price. Will not return.

Strong smell of mould.
The staff were lovely, and if I hadn't got in so late I would have asked for a different room as there was a strong smell of mould and visible signs upon opening the door. The breakfast was decent.

Friendly staff, free shuttle bus to beaches and kuta mall, rooftop pool was awsome. Views were amazing. My room was dirty unfortunately. Stains on surfaces, floor not swept or mopped, stains on curtains, bad smell llike wet dog, and the toilet was something out of a nasty public rest room. It hadnt been cleaned or flushed. The smell of urine was very strong. Thats how i know my room was not seen to before i got there. I would not stay again.

Cute Boutique Hotel, Bad Business Sense
First, I enjoyed my time at this hotel. It is clean, quirky, different, and even artistic in many ways. You don't have to worry about the cold, sanitized conditions prevalent at so many mid-range hotels. Although the staff are friendly, there is a severe lacking of any business sense. I've traveled long-term in Southeast Asia for 10 years and have seen it all, but this place isn't thinking logically. Like many places in Bali, you receive a better price by booking online rather than walking in. Go figure. They'll ask that you fight through a poor Wi-Fi connection to book your hotel online in reception rather than take care of it right at the desk a few feet away. I wanted to extend my stay, however, the front desk told me I had to do so online. Mysteriously, the rate went from my initial US$25 per night to US$185 per night, for a weekday! I showed them the new rate and was essentially told take it or leave it. Two friends staying there paid $20 per night, meanwhile I am supposed to book online for $185 per night. I was a satisfied customer (used room service twice and rented a motorbike through them) standing at the front desk with money in hand, but management couldn't untangle the bureaucracy. I had to leave. Although my reservation boasted of "welcome cocktails" "free breakfast" and two free bottles of beer in room, none materialized despite my asking. Don't believe the hype. Traffic is terrible, day and night, on the main road in front of the hotel.

A nice hotel with a good roof top swimming pool. Unfortunately for me the location was not the best with not much around, although the Thai restaurant across the road was nice and just down the road a great massage place. Having free shuttle to Pandawa Beach and Discovery Mall was good.

best and kindest service people I was ever helped
It was a soo nice place! :) I wish I could have enjoyed it longer but I was just on a run to another country. All was nice I just missed the internet sometimes because I really needed it, but ok. People should better come to just enjoy their life in MaxOne! :) I loved the roof top view!! :) And thanks so much for being so good people!!!

Loved the hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, awesome pool, and overall great environment. The only thing I didn't find great about it was the food and wine. Food was mediocre, if that, and terrible wine selection.

Value budget for mobile surfers
The hotel is a great value for money chain hotel for surfers who would like to enjoy some comfort, have their own transport and don't mind a 15-minute ride to some of southern Bali's best surf beaches. Should you not surf and simply want a beach, nightlife or serenity nearby, don't bother. The rooms are clean, modern, comfy though not luxurious. The staff is lovely, helpful and friendly. Enjoy spectacular views and a nice rooftop pool.

Good Value Hotel with Great Pool
I stayed here for three nights with my girlfriend while we were visiting Uluwatu. Overall it is a great hotel for the price! The rooms are simple but clean and the roof top pool is an added bonus. The only thing that isn't great is the food... but overall it was a great stay!

Poor location, far from all interesting points and not many things in a walking distance from the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable as well as the swimming pool. Breakfast was only Asian and not many choices. Good for one night as it is not too far from the airport.

Really good stay for the price paid. Room was neat size wise but fine for our 2 night stay. Not close to many things however they provide a shuttle service to beach and Kuta mall. (Didn't say anything about the entry price to beach tho) Reception were very helpful with our requests.

bad idea to stay there
Hotel located in a street very noisy and far from city center and the beach. We stay for our last night in Bali here and we were really disapointed of hotel service To go to airport, people don't want to call a taxi because hotel has their own car. when i ask for the price the morning, it was 175 000 ruppia and when i ask the afternoon, price was finaly 150 0000 ruppiah... quite strange ! this price seems to me quite expensive for the way but we have no other choice at this moment... so we pay :-( we rent a scooter with the hotel. Price was more expensive than price we used to pay days before when we rented scooters (70 000 instead of 50 000 per day). Scooter was old and without break... So an hotel to avoid!!!!

Middle of nowhere got food poisoning!! BEWARE
There was nothing to like except the rooftop terrace, this hotel is not in Uluwatu as you think when you book, it is in the middle of nowhere there is no where to eat so we ate at kats kitchen most nights and the food was great there. But we ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel and these were awful we got food poisoning from the chicken sandwich asa i was eating it thought it didnt taste right and for sure the next day really bad belly had to see doctor. They tried to rent us a death trap we asked for moped and we refusd both offered due to bald tyres and no brakes. we couldnt wait to leave. Free beer was a nice touch though!

We liked the staffs and hotel but the last day We did a book to go to gili island in the hotel And we paid everything right. At night the staff came to us and said that it was not possible go in the next day cause the weather changed, the problem is that it was almost 8 at night and at that time we already did a book in one hotel in gili and we did not have other place to move, the staffs did not give any attention about it and even without book other hotel we were forced to leave the hotel, cause max one was full

Most of the things about this hotel is great - room comfort, cleanliness, the bool at the top floor, breakfast, free beer and water bottles in the room! However, the location is not so great. You will have to rent a car/scooter or take a taxi to most of the places.

Generally quite good for the price. The complimentary beer was a nice extra touch. However, the lack of a fridge means warm beer... :( Also, no wardrobe. Would be nice if there were more hooks to hang our clothes.

The service in this hotel is very poor. We booked for a max happiness room which are the rooms on 5, 6 floor and they gave us a room on the 3rd floor which was cheaper. First hotel that when you pay for more they downgrade you to less cause apparently they were fool. And after asking for an upgrade without having to pay more, they "found" a room available. Watch out to get the room you actually pay for!

Far away from the CBD but amazing swimming pool
It was clean if you don't look in the corner (example dirty curtains...). Everyone was very nice until we had a problem with our motorbike (rent with them). Good restaurant and cheap. The location is not good because far away from the animation. The shuttle is complicate, you must book for going to the beach, so if you don't have any way of transportation everything is far away. But the breakfast was huge, the swimming pool on the roof very nice. We had complimentary water and beer. Wifi in our room and international television. We will recommend it.

this is a great value for money hotel, quiet location.this it's a new hotel,I stayed in maxone hotel in Jakarta last year and was impressed, so I thought I would give this one a go in Bukit Jimbaran, staff and security were very helpful at all times, rooms were clean and we had a nice balcony view.it has a rooftop pool and bar which was fantastic.Great view of the airport etc and the huge storm we had.will definitely stay here again...can't go wrong for the price...Only criticism is no fridge in the room, and not close to beach.but we had a car, so no problem.

チェックイン時与えられる情報が少なすぎる。Wi-Fi、朝食など施設案内ですね。荷物がリュックひとつだからとはいえ、持ちましょうかなど質問なく、聞かれたのは部屋探せますよね？でした。 ある日ドアの鍵も何かの不具合で待たなきゃいけなく、ルーフトップで待ちますか？と言われ待っていたが何も声かからず。 部屋が暗すぎるところ以外は施設やスタッフの態度などは全体的に大丈夫でした！
